Visited personally by the campu.eu team. Our comments:

The approach to the Ľuboreč reservoir was along a turn off the main road on a temporary asphalt road. While driving slowly we enjoyed the beautiful views of the dam. The owner welcomed us with a tour of the cottage, all the rooms and grounds. We were able to use the playground, brick grill, gazebo and for an additional fee, the hot tub. We were also able to rent a kayak or boat free of charge. A walk by the water and along the causeway illustrated the picturesque scenery of the site for us. We would love to return here on hot summer days, perhaps with friends who can stay in the cabin.

Pleasant environment of the dam ˇĽuboreč, quiet place. However, the land is a parking lot, between the buffet at the entrance gate and the cottage with a public toilet. So the sense of "no camping" has disappeared. Nice people. Less light smog in the evening so we watched the perzeids.

We went to the lake Ľuboreč based on the nice photos and description. The road led along a very broken asphalt road around the lake. Since it was pouring, we were looking forward to a covered terrace with a playground where the kids could hide and play and where we could have a nice sit. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a nice man from the local cafeteria who told us to park up by the showers. That was the first shock. As there are fishermen and other visitors parking on the property, there are minimal, I would say one, places to park the caravan. But when another car is parked there, you are left with a sloping lot like we were. The showers where we parked are without a roof or hot water. There is a sink right next to it,which is also not roofed, and the water is cold. To make matters worse, we were told that the water is not potable. Fortunately there was an electricity connection. The gentleman pointed out the surroundings. The toilet is shared, as in the description, we counted on that and it was even clean. We were interested in the playground, the gazebo and everything we saw on offer. The answer was that the playground, the trampoline and the hot tub belong to the apartment, it is occupied by other guests and if we want to go to the playground, we have to agree with them. It was evening, it was raining and the gate was locked. We were left disappointed. There was another covered seating area where we sat at least for a while, which was what we were expecting and looking forward to, but there was nothing. In the morning we packed up and left. We managed to see the surroundings, but I know some more beautiful places. Not for us.
