The dam is just below the hill, but the hut is nicely set aside in the quiet, squirrels, birds, rabbits, fireplace, session and a fireplace right next to it. We are used to the dry toilet, but it could definitely use a little more maintenance. A lid would be nice, not just a non-closable toilet seat. The door didn't open much and there was certainly no one checking the condition before we got there. The toilet paper and napkins were completely moldy.
The place is quiet, slept well. But the shutters can't be closed completely and the lock is hard to lock. The place is one of the cheaper ones, yet I would hesitate to choose it again next time.
