It’s a really interesting little spot. The place looks just like when we used to set up our tents in the ditches along the road on our way home from a festival while hitchhiking… though there’s an outhouse here, which is actually in good condition and well-maintained. But it’s understandable that a plot of land like this isn’t entirely easy to maintain. Reeds and the like grow there. But the spot for the tent and the path to the outhouse are mowed, and if not, a scythe is available 😁. And the nearby stream is picturesque too—the kids had a blast. In the morning, the road is busy, so an early wake-up call from cars is guaranteed. Anyway, we spent one night there😉. And if you want to drive right up to the tent, a 4x4 is a good choice. Thanks anyway.
We really liked it—the grass had been mowed, and there were plenty of spots to choose from for our tent, but for us (especially the kids), the best part was the stream!
Basically the place matched the description, so we counted on everything. It would have been a nice camp if someone had taken care of it at least a little. An unmown meadow is not something you want when you arrive in the evening after a rain - although we had a sickle with us, we preferred the only possible place to pitch the tent, and that was on a patch right under the mature spruce trees. All the cooking was done by the car on the tarmac in the driveway of the neighbouring property, which fortunately the owners don't use. If there were more than two campers with cars, they would have no place to park. Fortunately, we were alone. I'm sure it would also make hygiene and dishwashing much easier if the access to the creek was at least a little bit better. Like - we coped, spent four nights here and used the facilities, but we'll settle for less. More discerning campers used to the comforts of kadibudki and nicely mown meadows will not enjoy it here. It would probably be fair to us to compensate for our lack of care with at least some sort of discounted price. As it was, this stay cost us the same for one night as one campsite in Český Krumlov, but there was running water, a flushing toilet and a free phone charging.

The tall grass on the property was definitely uncut for a long time, and we were glad that we were able to set up our tent just below the spruce tree, as we couldn't do it elsewhere due to the large sod from our perspective. It was not easy to "pull" the wheels with the trolley onto the site.Having experienced many sites visited without a campsite, the price and service offered did not match.
