Where do the property ratings come from?
You can choose between a large meadow with a view and a small one tucked away near the fire pit, closer to the outhouse and electricity. The view would be great if it weren’t for all the cyclists, cars, and tourists passing by. No downsides—the owner is a great guy, and there’s plenty of wood by the fire pit :-)
The most luxurious thing about this spot is how high up and far into nature—beyond the no-entry sign—you can drive. There’s a really nice atmosphere up there.
There’s either a bare, open stretch of road, where you can find relatively flat spots. The view is truly spectacular. Or you can drive onto the property behind the spruce trees—where there’s no view, but the shelter can sometimes come in handy—and there’s definitely more privacy, plus it’s closer to the outhouse. Just keep in mind that the garden setting requires a certain degree of tolerance for construction clutter.
The outhouse isn’t very well-maintained—it has no door, so you’ll need to announce your arrival :)—but it’s sturdy and fully functional.
