Turn left after the barrier to the campsite and the sink is about 50m on your left. At the reception they have no problem to allow use.

Bata Canal - Petrov Wharf. Other ports are directly in Strážnice and other surrounding towns. There are plenty of restaurants, playgrounds and other entertainment for young and old.

A quiet place in the Slovácko region under the slopes of the White Carpathians, a short distance from the historic town of Strážnice, which lies on the Morava River. The meadow is directly connected to the excursion cycling routes of the Strážnice wine trails, where you can discover the unique Bata Canal on board a cruise ship, the open-air museum in Strážnice, or swimming in the Czechoslovak Mlýnky dam, located right on the state border (SK Fishing Association). equipment

toilet - Maintained dry toilet on the property. After payment of the order we will send a numerical code to open the padlock.

drinking water - Drinking water is available from a tap on the borehole cover. This is connected to an 8 litre filtered water tank, which is automatically filled when irrigation is running (every hour from 7am for 5 minutes until 7pm). It can be started remotely at any time on request, just send a text/call.

electricity - Solar source - The main purpose is to power the pump and filter the drinking water. In addition, there is an outdoor 230V socket on the shed by the dry toilet for smaller loads (charging a phone, laptop, tablet, inflating a mattress with a compressor). Failure to maintain a lower draw, or a longer draw at night (e.g. boiler, boil-off, kettle) will trigger a warning signal in the shed and then the electricity will be switched off, taking the pump out of service until charged. The next day the electricity will usually come back on by itself from about 9am on a sunny day.

shower / washroom - The camping (bag) solar shower is hung inside the dry toilet or by the fireplace and can be filled with water from the irrigation hose as needed. A canister hidden in the dry toilet can be used as a water reservoir for basic hygiene.

Greywater (shower, washing) - If you use environmentally friendly dishwashing detergents, it is no problem to discharge the grey water directly into the grass. Jar and other standard detergents will burn the grass, so please catch in the tank.

Chemical toilet - At the campsite in Strážnice, it is possible to pour out grey water and the toilet cassette free of charge. Everything is accessible in the area after passing through the barrier just to the left of the entrance to the campsite. The grey toilet building behind the wooden hut is about 50 metres from the entrance.

Access to the property may be difficult in rainy weather

The driveway to the property is paved with gravel, but in rainy weather it can be a problem to get a heavy motorhome back onto the road from the grassy area. Also, the driveway may have the last 100m muddy but still reasonably passable. 4x4 may be a necessity with a motorhome in bad weather. Extremely long rigs may struggle to roll up to the site and back. An example of an unsuitable length is a van with a two-axle caravan. The driveway is passable even after two weeks of heavy rain, you just have to allow for the vehicle getting dirty. Better is the approach from the southbound direction (pictured), which has a shorter stretch of unpaved road. However, the weather in this region is very dry and there is not much rainfall even in the rainy season.

Restriction of the access road

The driveway from the south can be a problem for larger RVs with tree limbs on adjacent properties, nor is the driveway to the property designed to accommodate oversized RVs and large rigs such as a two-axle trailer.

The Mlýnky reservoir, located right on the Czech-Slovak border, belongs to the Slovak Fishing Association.

water sports

The water reservoir Mlýnky is only about 3km away. This reservoir is right on the Czechoslovakian border and is great for a quick refreshment. A more popular place for swimming is the Lučina recreational reservoir behind the village of Radejov (last time the parking fee was 50Kč/day). The third option is a paid swimming pool in Skalica on the Slovak side (15km away, but much closer by bike path).

On the meadow there is a private children's house with a slide and a children's kitchen. In the woods there is a new smaller bunker for children with benches and two swings for smaller and bigger children are hanging by the fireplace. More smaller attractions are still being added.

Walks among the vineyards and orchards can be directed, for example, to the Žerotín pilgrimage peak towering directly above the property. A nice trip is also to the Plže wine cellars in the nearby village of Petrov.

We do not want to charge for pets provided the owners arrange for cleaning. Thank you for your cooperation.

There are herbs available on the property next to the entrance to the property and down by the Thorn Tree in front of the gully (chives, mint, ...). All possible fruits of that trees and shrubs are free for the taking as well as sloes and others.
