Romance on the border between nature and civilization. Just outside the city, next to the grassy airfield, and yet here you walk in the morning dew to the pond. Sometimes you watch the planes, sometimes you listen to the birds singing. And when it rains, the drops play the most beautiful lullaby on your roof.
We lived in the marquees with the kids. They've got a soul of their own, with a few scratches. But if you squint your eye over the scratches and the years of patio, you'll see how wonderfully light and cozy they are. And you don't get that immediate connection with the elements in any house. Unlike a tent, you're dry and safe in a storm.
In winter, a few logs and it's so warm you have to ventilate. The stove heats the water for washing. And if it snows, the surroundings are ideal for cross-country skiing. A few kilometres away is the Šacberk ski slope.
For singles or couples, in summer also for families. With a small child, you can fit in a large maringota. Larger children can occupy the marquee next door for a fee. Toys can be supplied on request. If you are a large family, you can also pitch a tent next to the gothic. Or park your caravan with friends by the private fire pit.
In winter, the marquee is so cosy by the stove with its glass door that you don't want to go out. All you need is a good book and you'll never want for anything.

toilet
- A separating vat in which you will feel nothing but relief. You don't send the poop down the drinking water slide, you dump it out before going to the compost heap. If that doesn't smell good, you can either shovel into the open air, or there's a neighborhood area with a flush toilet and shower. It is not available in the winter.

In winter, water in jerry cans with the possibility to refill the well.

- During the summer you can use the solar shower and toilet in the adjacent area. (approx. 100 m, for a fee 50 CZK/person/day). If necessary, leave money in the marquee. In winter the water does not flow.

- There are wood-burning stoves in the marquees. Wood is available in the wood shed.
Access to the property may be difficult in rainy weather
There may be puddles on the road in the rain or after a rain. Increased caution. In winter, if there is snow, parts of the road may be impassable. Then it is possible to park in the public car park at the airport Jihlava, turn off the road to Polna, and walk 500 metres. Text for up-to-date info.

Children feel like in paradise here. They can fly on the grass, fool around in the pond, there is a swing and a hammock, goats and chickens in the area next door. There are no cars. They're free. Watch out for the rooster.

On the nearby bike path. You can reach Kolnička, a popular restaurant in Luky nad Jihlavou.
The wooden marquee has its own special charm. We want to convey it to you. And we'd love it if you'd help us preserve it. So everyone is welcome to make themselves at home in our marquee. With respect for the space that was once our home and that we continue to visit with love.
Price:
The price per night in season is for the main marquee for two people, inclusive.
If you wish to use a second, smaller marquee, either for your children or another adult, please indicate the number of persons in the children's section. Please note, the floor here is only 180 cm long, so quite tight for an adult, but you can sleep on the carpet on the floor.
Bedding:
Ideally bring your own sleeping bags.
Blankets and bedding are not provided in the marquee.
Parking:
Park on the side of the road next to the marquees so that there is enough space to drive further along the road. Occasionally, large loaders will pass by to pick up cut timber.
I don't even lock my car here, I leave the keys in the ignition. But that's up to you:-)
Getting around:
The marquees are on a part of the family property adjacent to the Jihlava airport. There is no public access to the runway and hangar area for security reasons. There is a natural lake, a fireplace in the private area and showers or flush toilets in the main building if you do not want to use the boathouse. Which is very unlikely. You'll see:-D
There are also goats, chickens in the electric enclosure. There's one local gelding, Rony, a medium sized one, and a Hungarian Pointer, Viki.
You'll often see local regulars of all ages and sexes.
However, you have your own privacy in the marquee behind the bushes and trees.
Behaviour:
Please observe the nightly quiet and rules of decorum. There may be other non-campers with small children camping in the adjacent area...
Please do not leave litter behind. You can use the nearby black bin for mixed waste. Please take away plastic, glass.
Please apply branches from the surrounding area to your campfire, there are plenty of them from the recent logging of bark beetle-ravaged forests. A few years ago, there was dense forest all around... Today we have the morning sun in the windows and romantic views to the west. You can use the cut wood in the woodshed for the stove if you need it. Not for a fire outside.
Enjoy the peace and relaxation. Turn it off. And if you can't make it, there's WI-fi and electricity.
