For us, a fine space. Gradually the mansion and the surrounding area is being remodeled and when finished it will be a luxurious place to camp. The only thing I recommend is to pack repellent.

Land around the castle with great potential for the future. Location at the end of an impassable village . Adjacent to a bird sanctuary. It's real quiet at night. The mature trees provide pleasant shade on a hot day. Cons: 1. Expect mosquito attack in the evening. 2. The castle is being renovated. It is possible that you will meet and hear construction workers during the day. We didn't mind. We recommend a walk through the bird reserve, the castle and park Trebišov , the restaurant Vidiecky dom Oborín, Vinianske lake and castle, the city of Košice with its beautiful square, rozarium "u Bohušov" Nižná Myšla, Dargovsky pass, bike tours around Tokaj 😁. Overall we were satisfied.

Quiet land in the shade of trees, for people who seek peace and nature. Evening full of chirping crickets and cicadas, morning flights of wild geese and swans from the nearby bird sanctuary, which is the largest in Slovakia. You can experience all this here, including the landing of a stork on a dry oak tree. If you are lucky, you will also find a praying mantis here. The owner is friendly and very easy-going (thank you for everything you did for us), to the local boys :-) thank you for the tips for trips. The property is a good base for exploring eastern Slovakia. The facilities are absolutely satisfactory.
