Our (free) camp is located in the middle of the Slovak nature, in the Slovak Ore Mountains, in the Veporské vrchy Mountains. It offers you a view of Poľana above Detva, Ľubietovský Vepor, Klenovský Vepor and the transmitter on Kráľová hora. Thanks to its location on the hill, you can see the sunrise and sunset, at night the sky full of stars. This place is part of the Marekov Dvor farmstead.The camping site is located outside the village, 1.5 km from the main road. Although the access road is municipal, it is in a very poor condition. Part of the road to us is an unpaved, dirt road. It is therefore advisable that our guests arrive in cars that are adapted to such terrain. Due to the narrow junction in the village, the length of the car is also important. This should be a maximum of 7 metres.

Very nice, quiet place to relax. 10/10 recommend.
Pleasant lounge on top of the hill with nice views of the surrounding farmsteads.
The farmer's yard is nearby, you can buy cheese there.
As I read the description, you have to ask for a fireplace from the locals - portable. Latrine nice and clean.
For my taste I was expecting more silence, you can just hear the road opposite and now in the season there are motorbikes flying up and down...

Big plus - it's almost 1000 above sea level - no mosquitoes or pesky insects going for the light
