In short, there is something for both young and old.
The property is about 1km from civilization, yet secluded. It is adjacent only to forests, meadows and our small, family farm, which we are gradually building. By appointment, the possibility to see the animals (sheep, goats, cows, and other animals)
The garden is large and each tent site will have plenty of privacy.
In case of a large group, there is no problem to be close to each other.
The backdrop is an older house, a former brickworks, which has a bathroom with shower, bath and sink. A kitchenette with small equipment, stove, coffee maker, kettle, fridge, microwave, pots, containers for sorted waste, etc... A small lounge with a few books and games for any inclement (rainy or hot) weather.
In the garden there are slides, sandpit, and swings and hammocks for small children. Please use sensibly with regard to the weight-bearing capacity of the branches. There is also a trampoline, a playhouse, and now a pinec table.
Please put the toys back from the sandpit for the children so that there will be enough for other guests. Same with the bats and pinec balls.
Everything is modest, we are building it up gradually, so please be patient :-) we came up with this place and idea in 06/22, the reed ceilings were caving in and everything was trashed, we were soaking wet and it shows. Still not to our liking though. The house has been basically unoccupied for at least 20 years, so small animals (spiders, bugs, etc) have lived and are living here, there is no sleeping in the back room, hopefully it won't matter so much.
Please respect the place to make a fire. There is also a small grill by the fire pit. There is plenty of firewood around, only your own briquettes for the grill. There is a water barrel and watering can by the fire pit, please use to put out the fire. Alternatively, refill water from the well.
NO SMOKING IN THE ENTIRE PROPERTY AND GARDEN, except in the fire pit area.

The property is easy to access even in bad weather
The access road is passable with caution even by a regular car. It is a sloping dirt road with stones.
cycling
There are several cycling and MTB routes in the surroundings. There are plenty of opportunities for cycling trips off the marked routes. A little more challenging route is to Litice, the most popular for hiking below.In the opposite direction along the plain along the river you can reach Doudleb nad Orlicí, Kostelec nad Orlicí and Častolovice. All 3 towns have beautiful castles and castle gardens. You can also reach the cycle paths in 15 minutes by car.
water sports
You can take advantage of the wonderful Wild Orlice River, down in the village there is a beach maintained by the local fencing association, where children will surely have fun building dams from stones.

In the village Potštejn, about 2km to the center, there are activities for smaller and larger children. Children's playgrounds and work out rooms.
hiking
A plethora of routes and places to visit. Potštejn castle, chateau, Velešov, a beautiful walk is through the valley of the Wild Orlice to Litice, here they have a pub and excellent ice cream. A beautiful view is from the Litice castle.
Other activities
Beautiful morning walks and runs in the adjacent woods. These are criss-crossed with paved and winding roads and trails.
Fires must only be built in a designated area. Smoking by the fireplace only. Pets allowed, with caution even in the background. Please keep your pet in sight at all times. The farm is close enough so as not to spook grazing animals.

The facilities in the older house come in handy. We would come again. Thank you. (I keep a small margin in my score, for rating other places - but I was considering a lot whether 4 or 5)
A plot of land in a quiet location with great facilities that came in handy during the rains.
Pernsteinian solitude? A beautiful, peaceful place where you are almost completely away from civilization. Plenty of space for children's games and adult activities. Facilities such as toilet, bathroom and kitchen are fully sufficient. The surrounding area provides plenty of destinations for excursions The only blemish on the beauty is perhaps the access road, but you are warned in advance. An SUV has no problem with it, a passenger car is more cautious and a lowly sports car would rather not try it.
The grounds were beautiful, mowed, the kids ran around, we had a campfire and barbecues in the evening. The road to the property is dirt and rocky it will not be for all types of cars. We caught beautiful weather with no rain, it was no problem for us. The grounds were clean and tidy.
Great place. Lots of things for kids. For more bookings it's perfectly fine, everyone will find their corner. But there's only one fire pit, plenty of dry wood behind the cottage. There's a fire pit in the cottage. About 1 km to the excellent Clock Brewery.
