Seasonal holiday cottage in the most beautiful cottage location of the town of Mšeno, which is one of the most sought-after places in the Central Bohemian Region for its location, good accessibility and plenty of services. The town is rightly described as the gateway to the picturesque Kokořínsko - Macha Region and is located about an hour from Prague.

There is no internet here, but we usually welcome that on our trips :-) There is a mobile signal for emergencies.

It is an ideal place for a quiet rest, stargazing and a starting point for exploring the beauty of the surrounding nature.

The cottage is very modestly equipped but there is a fridge, kettle, microwave and hot water. On the ground floor there is a veranda with stairs to the attic and access to the living area. The living area is connected to the kitchenette, where there is also a shower. In the attic there is a bedroom with 3 beds and a room above the stairs where there is another bed.

The cottage is on a slope, the bedroom is in the attic, so there are no stairs to avoid. The toilet is flush but outside the cottage, about 25 m away. Capacity is 5 people, but more suitable for a family of 2 2 (or max 2 3). Sheets always available, other bedding and towels by arrangement for a fee. More info in the rules.

Outside of high season, sometimes reservations cannot be approved because the lodge is not easily accessible or the water is closed. However, approval/disapproval is always done almost immediately.
Significant discount for multi-day stays. Single day bookings will not be approved.
If arrival/departure does not conflict with other guests, you may arrive/depart at any time by arrangement.
Please write straight away when booking if you want pillows, blankets, bed linen and towels. The one-time fee per set is 100 CZK and is payable in cash on site.
The local sojourn fee is 20 CZK per adult per day (excluding the first day). It is payable in cash on arrival.
It is also possible to buy wood briquettes for the stove, rent an electric bike, bicycle, paddle board and more. Please check availability in advance.
I can be present at check-in, but you can also get to the cottage on your own. I send instructions prior to arrival unless otherwise arranged. I am available by phone during your stay if needed, or I or a family member will attend in person if the situation requires it.

The cottage is cozy, it has everything you could possibly need. The location is charming: from the hill you can see Bezděz on the horizon and the towers of Mšeno on the other side, you can easily walk to various marked trails.
Mr. Tomáš is a native of Mšeno and gave us a lot of tips and advice (lunch in the Romanov tavern was very good, thank you!) We felt like truly cared for and very welcome guests :)
