The location of the property is amazing, a bistro with excellent beer around the corner. Looking forward to the next visit :-)
I hate to be negative, but the property did not meet expectations according to the description or price. There aren't many places we don't want to go back to, this is one of them.
Positives: Davle and its surroundings are a nice location, close to Prague and the Sázava River; the land is right by the river, so a drop of romance; toilet, water, electricity on the land; train station nearby (which of course is connected with the negatives).
Negatives: we came mainly for fishing, because it is presented fishing from its own pier or from the next patch. Frankly, fishing there is really for someone who teaches tolerance and patience, the pier is tiny, it creaks, it bangs. The flat next to it has a really tricky access to the water, there are high tension wires about 5 metres above you and the corridor for casting is about a metre long...
Above the land is near the railway line and the crossing (bimba 😆), well, and the trains are running🫨. Behind the fence above the property is a salvage yard and when the breeze blows, well yummy. As you enter and exit the property, an apple tree scrubs the roof of your caravan (the branches are about 2 metres high), there are dry branches on the tree above the plaza next to the marquee, but like proper ones (we didn't notice this until the next day, we could have re-parked, but who wants to move the hambals again, so we took our chances).
There is a kiosk nearby, which we rate rather positively, as they have nice beer and snacks. However, if someone is bothered by the noise in the evening, they will be sad.
We welcome the sharing of any land, but here I would recommend to edit and update the description and tune it up a bit, the mess around the marquee is not quite 1A and the gate opening system is really quite complicated....
As I wrote for us this site is not worth a repeat visit and is rather expensive for what it offers.
