Yes, occasionally you'll hear a vineyard worker cross into your vineyard or maybe a tourist, but that's just from a distance, you can't see anyone... the rustling of the trees will blow it away. During the autumn and winter, access is usually easy, snow is rare, the base of the lawn is firm. But now summer's in full swing, sun, water - it's great.

- There is no washroom or shower, but the creek has beautifully clean water, you can stand in it, it is not deep at all... :)

- If the caravanner does not use chemical cleaning products for washing dishes and hands, shower - it is possible to drain this water behind the splash into the bush.
Otherwise, it is necessary to locate the canal in front of the pumping station. See below for info. Thank you.
Chemical toilet
- The chemical toilet can be emptied into the canal at the petrol station, which is operated by the nearby ZD (zemdělaké družstvo) Žerotín in its premises (there is a larger area in front of the entrance, where there are 2 canals at the edge). The petrol station also has drinking water, toilets and the possibility to BUY THEIR GREAT WINE! They have it really good...
The connecting direct cycle path, which is straight from the bridge towards the town, ends right at ZD Žerotín. By car you have to go around the field to the U.

The property is easy to access even in bad weather
Winter in Strážnice is usually without snow :), it rarely rains.... so access to the Nook by the brook is usually not a problem. If it is just after rain, there will be mud on the property naturally. However, the ground remains hard. Puddles are formed in the uneven surface on the access road after rain.

The entrance is 6 m wide, the prepared area for parking is about 200 m2.

Right by the bridge over the stream is the first bicycle sign. Nearby is the Žerotín hill with the chapel of St. Mary and the cross, a little further, about 5 km away is the water reservoir and the settlement of Mlýnky, with the Jana restaurant, playground, forest, chapel. Behind the reservoir is Slovakia.

It is possible to rent a hammock on the property, it can carry 120 kg. Hang at the entrance between the trees immediately to the left. Great! Hang swings from the shed or a chalkboard for the kids to paint on.

Folklore program, Batau canal - harbour, open-air museum, Jewish synagogue, churches, White Tower (lookout), blueprint (UNESCO), possibility to arrange an excursion, pedestrian zone : confectionery at Angel's (great), playground for children at the pedestrian zone. Chateau with park, swimming pool behind the chateau, wine cellars tour- Víno vín Ltd. Regional gifts - Koloniál u Lidky shop, Vinohradská 35, corner house, under the arcade, next to the TIC, closed on Saturdays.
Pet - dog or cat is allowed with the condition of removing excrements from the property. The garbage bin is on the road behind the bridge towards the town. Please do not dispose of in the caddy. Thank you. You are not allowed to use our property, the creek bank or anywhere else to urinate on pets or people. Please walk your puppies on the path behind our property.

Third visit and still only positive things and reasons to come back again. Complete privacy and magical peace disturbed only by the rustling of leaves.
A beautiful quiet place where everyone will find their own. The owners have thought it out nicely and besides a place to stay, they will also provide you with other things that might come in handy during your stay. Toilets clean and well maintained. We really praise the communication and information you get before you arrive. The only thing is, if it's windy, be prepared for relatively loud tree rustling, but you can't control that and most won't have as strong a breeze as we did.
Super. We were without kids and will definitely be back with kids.
Beautiful place, quiet, flat, tucked away in a secluded area, in peace and quiet. Driveway a bit overgrown for motorhomes (scratches on the sides of the car). Close to trees (beautiful!), just our night there was a strong wind so the huge poplar tree in the immediate vicinity made us a bit nervous, but in normal weather we definitely recommend it. We also welcome the privacy and absolute peace of mind that the owners guarantee by providing the property to only one landlord.
