Lavender farm in Jizera Mountains #5108

Far to the north, where the old pilgrimage routes end and begin and the mountains rise steeply upwards, we found a place. We have planted thousands of lavenders there and are waiting for them to grow. It's a place to slow down, to switch off, to lie down in the hay, but also to talk with us. About the mountains, about the people who lived and live in them, about growing lavender, about how it all started for us and about all the things we think of in places where maybe someone wouldn't think of it. We also opened a slow food restaurant this year. We cook with local ingredients from our farmer friends. We can prepare a meadow and field breakfast with a view of the mountain ridges in the quiet company of Irene and Bertha, our yard sheep. And all of this together makes for a heap of reasons to come and see us, or part ways. Come and slow down with us.
