Our cabin offers a place to stay overnight and basic amenities in case of bad weather or when it gets cold in the evening. Inside the cabin, you’ll find a bunk bed; the bottom bunk (120x200 cm) is designed for two people, and the top bunk (90x200 cm) for one person. If there are more of you, the approximately 400 m² plot offers space to pitch a tent or park a small trailer. Seating is available both inside the cabin and outside. The cabin is not heated; please bring your own bedding (sleeping bag, pillow, blanket) and choose the type according to the season. Only sheets are provided on the mattresses. There is no electricity, so we recommend bringing a flashlight; LED lights are available. You can warm up by the fire pit or perhaps go for a bike ride: Lužice is a perfect starting point for cycling tours through Slovácko and its wine trails, along the Morava River, or even all the way to Slovakia. The immediate and wider surroundings of Lužice offer countless tourist destinations for both active and relaxing recreation. Right next to the garden, you can swim or fish in a natural setting. Local winemakers will gladly invite you to their cellars, and you can find burčák (young wine) right in the village during the right season. In season, take a leisurely stroll to the wine stand right in Lužice by the bike path toward Mikulčice, and in Lužice, you can buy locally made cheeses from Mr. Cheesy or perhaps cracklings and smoked meats from the local butcher, Žůrka, to go with your wine. Your children will have a great time in the park by the Vrchnice River. The Podlužácké Feast, the grape harvest, and gatherings over burčák are just a few of the events the locals will be happy to invite you to.
Our garden is gradually recovering from the tornado that left almost nothing on the property, so we’re slowly getting some things ready for you as well. The shed is lockable, and the garden is fenced in, surrounded by neighboring gardens with cottages and vineyards; access to the property is via a code-locked gate off a dirt road.
We will provide you with the code after confirming your reservation prior to arrival.
Note: There is a track across another strip of gardens below the embankment. The track does not border the garden, but it might bother some people. The garden is covered in natural vegetation—a meadow—which is mowed as needed to keep the property from becoming a desert, but it’s not a manicured lawn :)

toilet
- The chemical toilet is in the bathhouse. It is necessary to use special toilet paper and biodegradable refills. The waste tank must be removed before the end of your stay or after 3 days for longer stays and taken off site and emptied. In the tank we use only organic degradable products - it is therefore possible to pour them into the toilet. The preparation is available in the bathhouse, you can refill and top up the water tank with water from the well. Please do not throw cooked food on the compost heap.
drinking water
- The water in the well is only utility water, not for drinking or cooking. Please be careful not to let the water fall down the well:) In the canister you will have fresh drinking water ready as a base, more you can provide yourself. In the vicinity there is a well U Kohůtku with a spring of artesian drinking water from a depth of 150 meters.
When washing dishes, use only eco products (eco jar, soap). You can then pour this used grey water on the compost heap next to the bathhouse.

- There is a stainless steel washing area and a utility water well that you draw yourself. Use only eco-washing products and you can water your tree or flower bed with this used water.

Access to the property may be difficult in rainy weather
From the municipal asphalt road you will continue about 25O meters along a public road strewn with crushed rubble , followed by about 15O meters of sandy dirt road between fences to the gate.
Restriction of the access road
The narrowest point of the driveway is about 330 cm, a crane and a truck passed through it, the gate for the entrance is 370 cm wide, there is a distance of 400 cm from the neighbouring fence. There is a sharper entrance angle, it is better to back up. It is also possible to drive 50 m and turn around and come from the opposite side. Here the narrowest part of the road is 2.7 cm.
cycling
Countless cycle paths through Slovácko and the whole of South Moravia, connections with the Lednice-Valtice area, Slovakia and along the Morava and Bata Canal you can reach Olomouc. You can find bicycle service in nearby Hodonín.
fishing
Directly in Lusice, 5 minutes by car from the garden is the union water - Lusatian aluminium. It is also possible to fish on other very nearby fishing grounds of the Morava River, Kyjovka (1 km). Purchase a guest permit in MRS - MO Hodonín. Commercial fishing: pond Kelčany, fishing on holes - ponds Rohatec Soboňky.

Natural swimming pool with refreshments directly in Lusice, 15 minutes on foot. In nearby Hodonin there is the Hodonin Day Spa, a nice summer swimming pool and an indoor pool. Swimming is also offered by the Morava River or the surrounding gravel pits.

hiking
Throw the pack on your back and go in the direction you want, in the Lusatian area it's almost always on the flat! If you want to go up into the hills, you can take the train directly from Lusatia station to Palava, the White Carpathians or the mysterious Chřiby.
At the right time of year, the local forests offer interesting mushroom picking experiences, and the warm South Moravian forests hide many mycological uniquenesses.
