An absolutely wonderful campsite—a rugged, beautifully mowed meadow on a gentle slope, with clusters of trees providing shaded spots. We boiled the water from the well and drank it without any problems. There’s plenty of firewood in the area; for the wood already prepared at the campsite, you’ll need a saw and an axe. Don’t worry about the access roads—they’re easily passable if you drive slowly. We’ll definitely be back; thank you very much.

It’s just a shame that the Karlín Music Theater was holding its summer camp at the nearby Blatnice resort. Maybe they should have just enjoyed the forest and the peace and quiet instead of bringing the noise from Prague to a place where nobody wants it. Fortunately, they respect the nighttime quiet hours. So after 10 p.m., all you hear is the rustling of the trees and the stars in the sky. I highly recommend it.
