We were very pleasantly surprised by the cottage. The equipment was sufficient, just everything you need. But the thing that surprised us the most was the quietness. We were literally a few steps away from the centre of Krumlov, but still it was as quiet as somewhere secluded in nature.
Phenomenal. At least for our needs - with our six-year-old daughter we had planned, among other things, to attend a performance on the turntable in the castle garden in Krumlov. From there, the meadow with the cottages was literally one short walk away.
Looking at the photo and the map, we thought of it as a wilderness. What was our surprise when we opened the door and inside we saw two cushioned armchairs, a giant, made bed, clean curtains, electrical outlets, candy bars, and all the hotel amenities in a mini-packaged wooden cabin with one room.
It was logically cold at night in late summer, so extra sleeping bags were definitely not a bad thing, but given the excellent location and solid price, the amenities of the Ela cabin/the owner's obvious care for it were a big and unexpected plus for me!
