The entire Sedlčany region is crisscrossed by a network of small roads connecting quiet nooks and romantic little villages. Minimal traffic, breathtaking views—absolutely photogenic! For experienced cyclists or e-bike riders, some of the hills will really put you to the test...
Note: Vysoký Chlumec Castle looks inviting from afar with its restored facade, but it’s privately owned and not open to the public! We made up for the disappointment at the local open-air museum; we highly recommend it—they’ll even let you see the watermill and the torture chamber in action.
This was our second time camping here, and there's nothing more to say—it's peaceful and relaxing. If you want to unwind, this is the perfect place.
