Where do the property ratings come from?
The property is absolutely amazing. A large meadow bordered by a forest and two ponds. An ideal spot for a family with children. We set up our tent at “Campsite 3,” which is on a slight downhill slope. Since we got caught in a big storm, we really appreciated the slope of the meadow—the rainwater ran right past us, and we stayed dry. The campsite has a fire pit with two benches, and an outhouse a few meters away. We really appreciated the water jug for washing our hands by the outhouse—we hadn’t expected that upon arrival.
A path leads past “Campsite 3” to two other campsites, so a few people drove past us, but it didn’t bother us at all. The individual campsites are actually quite far apart, so everyone has their own privacy.
The only minor drawback was that on Friday and Saturday evenings, there was a party/disco in a nearby house, and the noise carried over to us until about half past midnight. The music was mostly muted, but still audible. If you’re looking for complete peace and quiet at night, you should choose weekdays instead—Thursday night was quiet and absolutely peaceful.
We’d love to come back here. :)
