Cottage at Sychrov Chateau with garden 2400 m² #6178

Accommodation for campers who prefer a place that has a great tourist location (crossroads of hiking and biking trails), who like views of the countryside and want to have a lot of privacy and living space for themselves. For those who like peace and quiet, who can be frugal and don't mind the lack of civilization's conveniences and associated comforts.

The plot is above standard size (120 x 20 m!!! i.e. a little more than the length of a league football pitch). It is fenced, regularly mowed and you really have it all to yourself. There is no other campsite and no owner's RD, so you will have plenty of privacy. The land is also, I believe, safe for smaller children. The castle park is only 150m as the crow flies to the north and only about 300m to the entrance. In front of you (to the south) there is only a large field surrounded by forests and beautiful views of Všeň, Vyskeř, Kozlov, Příhrazské skály, Mužský hill (direction of view to the Bohemian Paradise Protected Landscape Area). I believe that you will be delighted by the wider surroundings of the castle, there is a lot to explore (see below for suggestions).

There is no electricity (!!!), but the basic lighting is compromised with solar lighting and a solar charger is available for charging small electronics (see below for a list of what you can count on). As soon as the sun comes out, it's definitely a good idea to remember to recharge everything you need in time. Water for showering and washing dishes is from the hose (i.e. no heating). Hot water on sunny days is provided by a solar shower (40 l).

Although you are a short walk from one of the most visited sights of the Lib. region, it tends to be quiet, no disturbing light or noise at night. There is a big difference in the tourist load between weekdays and weekends, but this applies more to the area around the castle.

It is not a secluded place, so it is necessary not to disturb other (possible) neighbors who come here (usually for the weekend) to rest from civilization. People here like peace and quiet. If you like noise, shouting or loud music this is not the place for you. For this reason, the place is not suitable for any kind of celebrations.

DESCRIPTION OF THE COTTAGE:
The cottage was built from a unimobile, the inner part is 3 x 6 m, the covered terrace with seating is about 2 x 6 m, in the back of the same size there is firewood for you. The basic insulation, the character of the shell and the "A" roofing eliminate temperature differences during the day. It is not uncomfortably hot during the day and not cold at night. However, the cottage is not suitable for staying in winter and cold season, there is no heating and you have to take it into account!!!

TOURIST POSSIBILITIES:
The place is very suitable as a starting point and background for exploring the beauty of the Bohemian Paradise and the Jizera Mountains, the Lusatian Mountains and the western part of the Giant Mountains are also very accessible. It is not disturbed by civilization, but it is easily accessible if necessary (Turnov 6 km, Jablonec n. N. and Liberec about 15 km). The connection to the R35 Liberec - Turnov expressway is only 2 km away. Sychrov railway station for train trips approx. 2 km.

SLEEPING - CAPACITY:
Sleeping possible on a large single bed 2.95 x 2 m (3 x mattress
120 90 90), which can comfortably sleep 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 small children (i.e. the capacity of the cottage). You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags!!!! It is also possible to unroll your sleeping bag on the terrace (wipes down - it is clean) - mattress available.

STATIONING
In addition, it is possible to put up a tent(s) on the property, e.g. for children if they want to sleep more adventurously outside and not inside (parents also need some quiet time). Ideally the tent should be placed at the bottom of the garden i.e. anywhere under the cottage to the south).

COOKING:
For cooking a gas cooker (two burner stove) with a 2kg back-up bomb. Basic cookware is provided. For washing up an outside stainless steel sink with drainer or 2 x plastic lavor, washing up liquid can be found in the kitchen. Salt, sugar, coffee, tea if you forget to take it with you are also available.

PARKING:
Parking is required on the property behind the mature hedge near the gate. Please observe this spot and do not drive your car up to the cottage (as it rains longer, the ground softens)!!! You can park anything, car, trailer, motorhome. There is plenty of room.

LIGHTING AND CHARGING:
- 2 X solar lamp (IMMAX BONITO) 4W - must be left outside during the day to recharge (on the tile between the tank and the bench), or can be charged faster via USB-C solar charger.
- solar charger 28W for 2x USB max 4A 2pcs USB-C cables and 1x USB micro cable
- 20,000 mAh power bank (suitable to be recharged occasionally with the solar charger)
- LED flashlight - rechargeable with light control and charge control (for trips to the toilet, fire etc.)
- 1x ordinary headlamp (3 AAA) - spare battery in stock
- on the terrace 2x solar chain - lanterns (pleasant non-disturbing light) - switch on automatically in the dark, on the back of the solar. On the back of the panel is an unobtrusive switch
- 1 x solar wall lamp between the benches - switches on automatically in the dark

PES:
Dog is allowed, but must not go to bed under any circumstances. It must not be left alone on the property. Primarily it is important to me that the site is child friendly and the no-camping code is followed and this is contrary to the absolute freedom of dogs. Hair/ excrement/ howling/ barking needs to be moderated when the dog is present.

WASTE:
Bins for sorted waste, are about 150m away by the driveway (west). What decomposes outdoors put on the "compost" by the toilet, the rest you can leave in bags by the entrance - I will take away.

TERMS:
Above all, keep the night quiet and especially do not disturb the neighbours with noise. Otherwise, according to the no-camping code.
