The cosy log cabin at Bysterské doly offers you a comfortable stay on a hillside full of flowers with a fantastic view from the terrace. The cottage and its grounds are not fenced, so you will enjoy not only a beautiful view, but also a piece of real nature with deer and deer.
On the lower meadow you can pick herbs in summer and sledge in winter :-)
The cottage is only accessible on foot by stairs in the hillside, which will give you plenty of privacy and a beautiful view of the valley.
From the cottage it is only a few steps to the forest and a short walk to lookout towers, castles and mountain trails. There are plenty of places to hike in the area!

Two separate rooms on the upper floor
Room 1: Double bed 160×200 cm with French duvet
Room 2: Double bed 140×200 cm with French blanket cot 160×70 cm
The duvets and beds including mattresses are new in the upper rooms and all beds are always clean linen.
Living room
2× single bed 90×200 cm - full size beds with slatted grid. During the day it serves as a corner sofa.
Bathroom corner with a small bath - hot water is available from the boiler, so you need to plan the shower a little, the kitchen corner is included.
The toilet is conventional and located separately in the cottage.
Wood burning stove, we provide this in the price, it is chipped and dry. In the cold season we hand over the cottage where it is flooded and heated. During Christmas and New Year's Eve, an open fireplace is also in use.
It is possible to buy wooden briquettes, which burn longer and do not have to be added so often, 10Ks - 100 CZK. You can also bring your own.
In addition to the stove, there are two electric convector heaters.
The access road is on a classic road and parking is available in the area by the road below the cottage. We have two reserved parking spaces and parking is free of charge.
The walkway is in the village of Bystré 1,5km away.
There is a swimming pool in Bystré with a restaurant and refreshments about 2km away - there is also a playground for children. Bystré pub 1,5km.
The Zlatý potok pub in Kounov about 3km - here it is possible to arrange lunch delivery.

Opočno Castle - a beautiful park.
Castle Nové Město nad Metují - they have a play exhibition for children, beautiful Christmas lights, playground by the castle, the whole square with the castle and garden is picturesque.
If you like animals, there is the Klopotov Giantry in Nové Město, and a private breeder in Mezilesí also has lots of animals in the giantry just on the edge of the village.
If you are more of a tourist, you can go towards the mountains (all within a range of about 10 km) there is Masaryk's cottage, Šerlišský mill, Velká Deštná, there you can take a cable car to the Cold Hill, open bistro NA HORE, then there is a beautiful big lookout tower in Deštné and on the way beyond Deštná there is a famous church with a glass roof Neratov, they also have their own brewery.
Also, the whole Orlické region is interwoven with trails of Kačančina fairyland

Only paying and staying guests are allowed in the cottage during the rental period, as stated in the contract, the stay of other persons is strictly forbidden.
Accommodation with animals.
Accommodation of your animal friends is possible exclusively and only by prior arrangement.
Rules for staying with a dog
Your friend must bring his/her own bed or blanket
The owners will wipe his paws in rainy weather - a cloth is available :-)
He can be on the large enclosed patio, please do not let your dog run loose around the area.
Walking only under supervision and it is absolutely necessary to clean up after your dog
At the end of your stay please hand over the cottage in the same condition as we will hand it over to you, i.e. tidy and clean. A vacuum cleaner and cleaning products will be available to you throughout your stay. Please leave used sheets, towels, tea towels in the pile.
It is possible to agree in advance or during the stay on a complete final cleaning for a fee of 1000Kč.

During holidays during the year and vacations, the minimum rental period is 3 days.
At Christmas and New Year's Eve, the minimum rental period is 5 days.
New Year's Eve is without firecrackers and fireworks, please.
The cottage has a capacity of 6 adults 1 child. Extra persons staying in the tent ( in summer months) is allowed and the price must be added.
We observe a night time quiet time of 22:00-07:00 and try to blend in with the sounds of nature rather than a raucous party, we are not inclined to do that.
Open fires are only allowed in the fire pit and grill and must be supervised at all times. In the event of high winds and dry weather, we ask for careful consideration and caution when lighting a fire.
Pets are allowed by prior arrangement only and we strongly ask that you follow the agreed rules. We collect treasures from the dog and he sleeps only in his bed or on his blanket:-)
We have a large enclosed terrace, which is connected to the cottage and there the dog can be free, otherwise we are not fenced and free movement without supervision is not possible.

We will hand over the cottage to you ready and cleaned and we want to take it over in the same condition :-)

Smooth and nice communication. Beautiful view. We were also given tips for events in the area. You have to take into account that you have to leave the car at the bottom of the hill. We counted on that, so we didn't mind.🙂
Amazing place that met my expectations and gave me full relaxation - nature, peace, yet full facilities (where you can cool down even in the heat). You can't see the (distant enough) neighbours, so they can't see you, but you have a wonderful view of the majestic forest in front of you, you listen to the orchestra of birds and in the background you can hear the stream gurgling in the distance. I sincerely recommend it.
