In the morning
You know that feeling when you unzip your tent or open your car door and the fresh air of the Bohemian Central Highlands hits you in the face? You take a few steps through the grass to a white bench under an apple tree, a mug of fragrant coffee warming your hands, and you just watch. Right in front of you, the silhouette of the ruins of Košt'álov Castle rises to the sky and you enjoy the rare luxury of silence, broken only by the wind in the treetops and the morning song of birds from the nearby bird feeders.
There is no rush here. It's a piece of land I created for those who need to regain their strength from nature and enjoy every second of peace. When you sit by the fire in the evening with a cold drink and the stars light up above you, you'll know that this is a place that really recharges you.

Night under Košt'álov: Where time stood still and the stars lit up
The day is slowly coming to an end, but the best part is just beginning. You sit by the massive stone fireplace and all you can hear in the deep silence is the soothing crackle of wood. Above you, the endless star-filled sky stretches out and the moon's silver light paints the proud silhouette of Košťálov Castle, which watches over you like a silent sentinel.
Just turn around a little and you will see the soft lights of Trebenice in the distance - the illuminated Museum of the Bohemian Garnet and the tower of the nearby church, shining like beacons of peace in the darkness. At that moment, you want to do nothing but sit back, hold a spit with an honest-to-goodness sausage in your hand and watch it slowly turn golden over the fire. No electricity, no wifi, just the warmth of the fire, the smell of the smoke and the feeling that you are exactly where you're supposed to be at this very second. This isn't just camping, this is a return to what's really important in life.

In the rain.
When the skies cloud over: a haven where rain doesn't matter
Sometimes the sun takes a break and the clouds cover the sky below Košt'álov. But that's when the true magic of our hut comes out. While at home you would probably sit in front of the TV or with a mobile phone in your hand, here the drumming of drops on the roof invites you to something completely different.
Open a bottle of fine wine, slice some cheese or honest sausage on a cutting board and get your cards out. Or play Man, Don't Be Angry. Here at one table, by lantern light, the best memories are built - no wi-fi, no rush, just you and the laughter of your loved ones. Because the most precious time is the time you give to each other, and here you have the best facilities for that, whatever the weather.

The gifts of our garden.
Do you know what is the most beautiful thing in our meadow? That it tastes different every time. When you walk past the shed or rest under the apple tree, look carefully around you. Maybe it's the sweet raspberries ripening in the sun, the blackberries turning a deep purple, or the branches of the old apple and pear trees bending under the weight of fruit that tastes like this nowhere else.
Don't be shy, and feel free to pick directly from the bush or pluck an apple for a snack. It's an invitation to my garden - just reach out and let nature treat you. Just please remember those who come after you so that they too can taste the sweet joy of the fruit you have just picked.


Wandering around: From chocolate to castle gates
When you've had enough of the peace and quiet of the meadow, put on your shoes and go for a walk. Just a kilometre away is the picturesque Třebenice, which you will love.
Stop by the local chocolatier - trust me, their handmade pralines with fresh coffee are an experience to remember. In the summer, their honest ice cream will save the day. If you've got kids with you, there's a large modern playground just a short walk from the patisserie where they'll have a blast while you can make plans for your next outing in peace.
The local shop sells everything that goes with camping, from fresh pastries to local wine to honest sausages to roast on the fire in the evening. And for those who don't want to cook, there's honest food and cold beer waiting in the village. It's all literally around the corner, so you can leave the car resting on our grass and enjoy a day on the move. If you pass through Trebenice and continue on, you will reach the ruins of Košt'álov Castle, the view is definitely worth the effort.

A plea from the heart: leave the place as clean as it welcomed you
I have built this meadow and hut with great care and joy. So that those who come after you can enjoy the same beauty and peace, I have a request for you:
When you leave, please leave the place in the condition in which it welcomed you. The fire pit cleaned of debris, no forgotten trash. Everything you brought with you, please take back with you. We don't have bins to be taken away by car - we are in the middle of nature, where only our own conscience keeps things tidy.
