That’s exactly what you can experience here on our meadow, which my husband, our children, and I are developing together. We recently planted a young orchard of heirloom apple trees here, and as novice beekeepers, we’re carefully tending to our first two beehives, which are located a safe distance from the teepee. The entire property is fenced in, so you can let your four-legged pets roam freely without any worries.
A small stream flows through the center of the meadow, where you might spot frogs or grass snakes—unless it’s a dry spell.
We’re not deep in the wilderness—we’re on the outskirts of Velká Bíteš, which is within sight. Thanks to this, you can easily drive here, park right on the property, and the town is just a short walk away.
The area is perfect for nature walks; popular routes include those around Bílý Potok, where you’ll find well-preserved water mills and fords.
What can you expect in the teepee?
You’ll find basic amenities here: a stove, a lighter, skewers for sausages, and a wine corkscrew. A dry toilet, towels, soap, an outdoor sink, and a shower are available. There’s always a jug of drinking water on site. For your four-legged friends, we have bowls and a bed. The teepee is ideally sized for 2 people, but 4 people can easily sleep here as well—just be prepared for a bit less space.

FIRE: Starting a fire is allowed here, just please take extra care in dry and windy conditions and do not leave the fire unattended or consider safety.
Hives: Our two hives are a short walk away. The bees are usually minding their own business, please be careful not to go unnecessarily close to the hives and keep an eye on your dogs near them. If you have allergies, please consider whether it is safe for you to stay with us.
Dogs: Dogs are welcome, but please ensure that dogs do not bite trees and clean up after your dog - a bin is available.

The property was perfectly prepared. Everything is just as it looks in the photos—and even nicer in person. The bathroom surprised us with its size :-) and the outdoor shower is only for the hardy, but since it was hot during our stay, it came in handy. Sleeping in the teepee was luxurious; the comforters were so freshly scented that we almost felt embarrassed to sleep in them, since you’re not exactly “clean” when staying out in nature. As a great bonus, there was a bed and a water bowl ready for our dog. It’s clear that the owners have thought everything through down to the last detail and take great care of their guests—and I hope they’ll continue to do so with the same attention to detail that’s evident in every corner of the property. The only thing that slightly spoils the impression is the nearby factory, but you just have to turn around 180 degrees. On the other hand, this is balanced by the proximity to the city and all its amenities (restaurants, grocery stores). And I believe that once the property is overgrown with the planted willow trees and there’s even more privacy, it won’t be 99%, but 100%. We were truly very satisfied. Thank you, and I hope this wasn’t our last visit.
