The property is located in a quiet allotment garden area on the outskirts of Heřmanův Městec. There are apple trees, a pear tree, currant bushes, blackberries, and two walnut trees. Feel free to pick anything edible.
There are no utilities (electricity, water, sewer) on the property.
Water—rainwater in barrels, drinking water in a 25-liter barrel.

A beautiful, peaceful place where everything was perfectly set up. The property had a water jug, a portable toilet, dishes, and a grill with firewood ready in the shed. The property is fenced in, so it’s absolutely ideal for dog owners, in my opinion. 🐶 Plus, right in front of the garden is a field where your dog can run around to its heart’s content.
During our stay, the owners visited the neighboring garden with their dog—a very playful female—so she and my Buddy had a great time playing together, at least around the fence. 😊 I also tasted some blackberries and an apple straight from the garden, which was a nice little bonus.
The only thing that bothered me a bit was the parking. The car isn’t right next to the property or even in sight, and you have to leave it at the spot indicated in the instructions. Meanwhile, the neighbors were parking right in front of the garden, so it might be worth considering whether guests could park there as well. After all, carrying the tent and all the gear on arrival and departure is a bit impractical, and I’d also prefer to have my car in sight during my stay.
One other minor point—there isn’t a fire pit yet, which is a bit of a shame, especially since the firewood is all nicely prepared. Otherwise, though, it’s a very pleasant place where you can tell the owners care about their guests’ comfort. Buddysko and I really enjoyed our stay. 😊
