Where do the property ratings come from?
A beautiful, secluded spot with a unique atmosphere… which the owner clearly takes good care of. Excellent access via a paved road. The lot is large (part of it is left in its “natural, wild” state), on a gentle slope, but there is also a flat area on the property suitable for parking. In the summer, you’ll definitely appreciate being surrounded by mature, naturally grown trees that provide much-needed shade. Next to it is a sunny meadow, and further up is a forest. A small pond, a fire pit, and a shelter add to the atmosphere....An exemplary dry toilet. Opportunities for excursions throughout the Brdy Mountains; a short walk uphill leads to the Voltušská vyhlídka viewpoint with distant views or the memorial to Jakub Jan Ryba, composer of the Czech Christmas Mass. ... and I’m not giving a perfect rating solely because, in my view, the property listing should more clearly state that there are two smaller cabins located below and next to the lot, and that “neighbors” may be present (during my stay, there were also two residential units down below the property), and the resulting “noise of civilization” might not suit everyone.
