Entering the property. After passing through the gate, you "call" the gate again and it closes behind you. Exit the premises in the same way. The gate system does not accept the call in the sense of taking money from your account, it will not accept the call after you call, but will open or close the gate. The gate will respond to your mobile phone throughout your stay. The keys to the toilet are stored in a small box located to the right of the gate by the electricity switchboard. You will receive a code via email with further information, by telephone enquiry or by text message_777135001. If you require assistance on arrival or departure an appointment is required in advance.
In the fort you will find sites suitable for tents (just choose one - we can show you the site if requested) as well as caravans and trailers.
Unconventional camping in a historic building, if you're expecting luxury, hot water and showers, it's not here. For that we have wildlife and at night you can see the stars.
Winter camping is also possible, just be warned that the water is turned off in winter - but you can fill up jerry cans by prior arrangement.

The property is easy to access even in bad weather
Asphalt road along the entire length. It is only necessary to count that it is uphill:-). Do not use the navigation, which leads by the ban around the ZOO or through the village of Posluchov or Dolany. It is necessary to go through the village of Svatý Kopeček and into the dead end road in the direction of Radíkov! At the beginning of Na Pevnůstce Street in Radikov there is a no entry sign with an additional sign "Out of traffic". You are going to your accommodation and thus the ban does not apply to you. At the intersection by the telecommunications tower, take the asphalt road to the right of the gate to the tower area, past the wire fence to the fort entrance. On the right side of the road is the Restaurant under the tower.

Amazing place, really a lot of space, possibility to put the tent anywhere. I think it was not our last visit. At night it's incredibly quiet, dark and a great view of the stars.There are plenty of places to build a fire. Perfect for clearing your head. The area overall is very nice, has beautiful nature and interesting to walk around during your stay. Opening the gate is a great and functional idea. There is a restaurant next to the grounds with a window where you can buy things like beer, sodas and of course food.

For sleeping in a tent super sites just outside the gate right up the hill. With off road car fine.
Interesting place, the boys were excited, we crawled through part of the underground passage. The area was full of blackberries. Toilets in cells with running non-flushing water, a bit smelly but we were glad for them at least. There is a restaurant outside the entrance, but we didn't use it. There was also a kids camp next door that had a camp game in the area, but didn't disturb us in any way. About 3km away is the Olomouc Zoo - very nice. We were alone here. The first night was harder to sleep, something was beeping, the second night we moved to a place recommended by the owner and slept well.
Very well organized entrance via GSM gate. All very well explained in the PDF. Only not quite clear whether to return the toilet key to the safe, leave the toilet locked or unlocked. Everything was explained. With kids who are interested in the military, I highly recommend it.
