Officially, it is a garden with an area of 10770 meters, so there is plenty of space =)I am establishing an orchard on the north side, but most of the land remains as a meadow.On the south side there is a small wooden building where I stay on weekends, next to the cottage there is a terrace with seating and a fireplace, where you will be welcome =)There is also a barbecue.There is no classic toilet due to the absence of water, but you can use a traditional bathhouse.Near the property there are beautiful Brdské forests, which are not only full of mushrooms and natural beauty, but also various hidden stories, such as our partisans =)For the medieval-loving there is a castle nearby Točník (can be seen from the photos when looking at the landscape =) and below it the ruins of Žebrák, which can be reached on foot =)In the bike range is the castle Zbiroh.For watermen and waterwomen there is swimming at Záskalák near Komárov, for fishermen there are several ponds (unfortunately I am not a fisherman myself).Dragonfly is not connected to the grid, but thanks to the autonomous ecological power plant (sun and wind) there is a possibility to recharge portable devices (mobile phone, laptop, camera, etc. In case of bad weather or after a hard hike it is possible to use various board and card games on the terrace by the fireplace =)Upon agreement it is possible to provide paddleboards Kiboko (see photo), or lake or sea kayaks Rainbow and Necky.For multi-day stays I can rent a plastic paddleboard for free.

The driveway is not asphalted, but it is still very passable even in bad weather.In wet weather it is worse to get to it from the meadow, but it is possible even with a long resident =)In case of snow or a few days of rain, the risk of getting stuck is not negligible, but there is always some wood and a little rum by the fireplace to warm up.

This, the property is located on the edge of the village and quite frankly, if anyone is looking for privacy, they won't have it. For one thing, the plot is in close proximity to the owner's residence and, in addition, the entire plot is bordered on one side by the houses of other local residents. There was some possibility of moving to a more secluded area, but the grass was already pretty high there. The owner is a laid back guy and if you like long conversations over a beer this is an ideal choice. We were rather dull companions with the kids. As a bonus I see the willingness of the owner to help with everything, plenty of wood and the possibility to partially refill the drinking water. Definitely take advantage of the paddleboat rental at the nearby reservoir. Ps: a welcome beer will make you happy.

I stayed at Dragonfly and the dogs for 4 nights and for us we were satisfied. Nice beach, quiet, beautiful view and nice neighbors of the property. The woofers were max happy.

A cool place with a cool owner. We were here for the first time and only used it as an overnight stay between home and Strasbourg. But next time it could easily be a destination stop with lots of excursions. I was a little apprehensive about driving the RV (and front wheel drive) out of the lower part of the property, on grass sprinkled with morning dew (and the owner's ATV was in the back), but we drove out just fine...
