Orchard at Šusáků

A quiet place suitable for relaxing and sitting with friends. The size of the land is approx. 6000 m2 - it is a former orchard with an uninhabited family house in the vicinity of forests and the small village of Rašovice. The nearest town, Týniště nad Orlicí, or "town in the woods", is 4 km away. There is a natural swimming pool in a large beech forest. Our garden is ideal as a base for hiking, cycling or boating expeditions. The confluence of the Tichá and Divká Orlice rivers is within easy reach. For paddlers or families with children, a one-day cruise from Týniště nad Orlicí to Krňovice, where you can visit the open-air museum of folk architecture of Podorlice. In Týniště, paddlers will be taken care of at the Rampa Paddling and Tourist Centre. If you are looking for a swimming pool with pools, you can go to the adjacent Třebechovice pod Orebem (about 10 km), where you can find the most valuable and most admired all-wooden crib with a unique mechanical system of folk carvers Josef Probošt, which is also worth a visit. Týniště nad Orlicí is also a railway junction with a triangular square and the Church of St. Nicholas, which is an important railway junction between the line from Prague to Hanušovice and from Chocne to Meziměstí. Not far from the station is the water tower from the First Republic, which now serves as an original museum, gallery and lookout tower with a nice view of the Eagle Mountains and the Giant Mountains in the high season. And who would like to see even more, there are many historical and cultural monuments in the surrounding 25 km. One of the closest and most beautiful is the Častolovice Chateau (approx.7km) and then the New Castle Kostelec nad Orlicí (approx.8km), Doudleby nad Orlicí Chateau (approx.13km), Rychnov nad Kněžnou Chateau (approx.15km), Opočno Chateau (approx.16km) or Potštejn Chateau and Castle (approx.20km). We can of course tell you more interesting things or culinary tips on the spot.A stop at our set does not have to be just for a short time, there is a lot around to visit and explore. However, it is up to you how long you stay with us :-).We have been travelling with the caravan for ten years now and love to explore new places.
