Directly in the village or in the surrounding villages you can find almost all kinds of activities from hiking (many marked trails in the Beskydy Mountains), through sports (cycling, swimming, skiing) to culture (Wallachian Museum in Rožnov).
The disadvantage is a more difficult access road, please read the section Passability.
The land is located in zone III of the Beskydy Protected Landscape Area, close to the Slovak border, in the village of Horní Bečva. It is forbidden by law to camp in the MPA, to build fires and to enter and stay with motor vehicles and caravans. At our request, the Agency for Nature and Landscape Protection of the Czech Republic has granted us an exemption for the place we rent as part of the no-camping, so you can park and roast a sausage without any worries. However, please keep in mind that it is still necessary to behave respectfully towards nature, according to §26 of the Nature and Landscape Protection Act.

The property is easy to access even in bad weather
The road is asphalt, paved, but a lot of uphill and curves. In winter it is mostly rutted, but not gritted, so it is impassable even for simple cars that don't have 4x4s. More information on the road a bullet point below.
Restriction of the access road
For caravans, a rear-wheel drive car is suitable, but preferably a 4x4. A weaker car will not pull the trailer uphill. Guests who have stayed with us recommend unhooking the trailer after turning off the main road (there is a small plaza) and driving the road first, so you know what you are getting into.Some motorhome owners have done the same. It's less than a 10 minute walk, which you'll appreciate on the way to the first turn. Drive up the hill in first gear, and at the first turn mentioned above, give yourself a good hard ride. An experienced driver with a good car should come out. Even though the road is up a steep hill and a right-hand left-hander at one point, both the homebuilder and the logger will come out, so car length shouldn't be a problem. The longest motorhome we've had so far was 7 metres. The disadvantage of motorhomes compared to heavy equipment, however, is that they usually do not have all-wheel drive. If you have a rental car and don't know it well, then you'd better consider coming to us.Owners of vehicles with automatic transmissions may also have a problem.

If you're on the property by yourself and park on the grass from the photos, it's OK. Between the older houses, view of the sheep paddock, road and meadows out the back. You might fit two cars in here if you know each other.
Unfortunately we came as a second car, we couldn't fit on the grass with the caravan parked (it's not that big) and we had to park on the gravel outside the gate overlooking the old barns, rusty cart, pile of bricks etc. We decided to go to the campsite in Machůzky instead, it was amazing, and not that much more expensive. Bezkempu cancelled this stay and refunded my money.
Otherwise, the curve on the way up is still unpleasant, you want to give yourself an A in advance, because once it starts breaking in that hill, you will be struggling to get there from a B. But with the ducatto you could start even in the most critical place, you just need calm and fast feet on the pedals :)
Beautiful place exactly matches the description. It was my first camping trip without camping, with three children 4, 6 and 8yrs. The kids were thrilled, they wanted to stay another week. An extra bonus for us were the neighbors who told us a bit about living in seclusion.
With a car it is close to everywhere from there, our destination was mainly Pustevny which is 10mins away. Radhošt' 15 min.
But up there is divine peace.
As for the access road, thanks to the reviews I managed it just fine. The important thing was:

Camping at Krášl met my expectations to the maximum. The place is between several buildings shaded by fruit trees. The people are very nice and friendly. The location is very quiet. The pitch is right next to the road, however the road only leads to a couple of cottages, there is almost zero traffic. The driveway is more challenging, however with a motorhome accessible without any problem. I can only recommend it.
We really enjoyed our stay. The place corresponds exactly to the photos on the presentation. The road right next to the property did not bother us at all. The traffic was really minimal. And the silence that is disturbed by the occasional bleating of sheep is priceless and healing. If there were still a latrine there, it would have 6❤️ for us. But this is not a complaint because it is not even in the description 😉🙂. We will definitely come back here a few more times.
Beautiful place, it is by the road, but it didn't change the peace and privacy. Not many cars pass by, it's a little village at the end of the world. There's a pen of lambs right on the site and they're really cute. We spent two nights at the place and met about 3 people in total, it's really quiet. Thank you for the opportunity to stay here and get to know at least a little of the beauty of the Beskydy Mountains.
