Orchard of old varieties - Proboštovo

We offer the possibility of camping in an old orchard in a small village in the Bohemian Central Highlands. The orchard is spacious and you will not be disturbed by the neighbours. We offer places for three tents and parking for one car and one caravan or motorhome on the paved area at the entrance to the property. Tenting is available on 3 sites within the property, but may be limited to one site prior to haying.

The land is gently sloping. The tent sites are mostly on level ground. The view of the church is from the highest tent site and this view will only be enjoyed by romantics who do not stay at the entrance to the property but pitch their tent higher up - this area is not available all year round. It depends on the mowing of the plot.
In the case of caravans and motorhomes, parking is at the entrance and therefore next to the road where there is little traffic.

There is a stream on the boundary of the site which you will have access to. The land is not connected to potable water, we are planning a connection in June 2023.

Making a fire - in the event of a prolonged drought, we do not recommend (and in extreme cases prohibit) starting a fire due to the fact that the area is practically all covered with grass. If conditions are good, we always have firewood ready for you.

In season we will be happy to offer you our products - ciders, crosses, jams, preserves and other goodies.
We can show you around the property every day from 10am to 4pm. Please ask for an approximate time of arrival.

Caravan parking.
Do NOT drive into the sheltered meadow, neither do we. You run the risk of not being allowed back in after a rain of mud, or at the very least ruining part of the meadow by compaction.

PS: A small percentage of visitors expect campground facilities. We're eco-bio, our land is all about nature, so don't expect a table and chairs by the fire pit, a pergola, etc : ) Instead we offer 2 hectares of nature to walk through, explore and the kids can play in the creek all day.
