On the Skalka property, we try to respect and improve what is there - keep the water in the pond clean, only walk on the mowed paths in summer away from the flowers, and leave a tidy trail. We expect you to share this attitude so that we and all future generations will be comfortable on the property.We spend a lot of time at Skalki, we live in the neighbouring village. Primarily, therefore, the site will be yours (and that of any passers-by). However, we would be happy to meet you and talk more about the history of the site or about life and travel; just message us and we can arrange.Practically, please:- choose a place to sleep where nothing special grows (ideally under trees behind a shelter);- a fire can be built on a fire pit (and a reasonably sized one); wood for burning is usually (!) right next to the fire pit, a hatchet, saw can be useful;- after the fire is burnt out, pour 2-5 buckets of water over it (besides safety, it will create charcoal that we will use on the property);- be polite to anyone you meet on the property (locals and animals).To finish, I am attaching a link to my favorite places in the area: :-) https://mapy.cz/s/hocaludode

Beautiful large plot with a large shed, private pond, solar shower and eco-friendly dry sawdust toilet. We spent two nights here with our kids and dog. We slept under a tent and had a great time. There is nothing missing on the property. There is a large shelter with a long table and benches to sit on. There is a nice fireplace nearby. The drinking water is supplied by a well, which is connected to a shower and a tap at which you can wash your hands. The grounds are full of different nooks and crannies where everyone can relax and unwind to their heart's content. It is obvious that the owners maintain the land with love. We would love to come back here again.
