Our teepee is situated on a quiet plot of land by the woods overlooking grazing animals and beautiful countryside. It is only 2 km away from the castle Hrubá Skála.
Comfortable accommodation for 4 - 5 people. Bring your mattress and sleeping bag.
Since 2024 - smoke flaps cannot be opened ( no heating inside).

Hruboskalsko is a nature reserve and is a very visited area. There are many marked hiking and cycling trails. Visitors are attracted not only by the views of the rocks, but also by the unique nature. Among the most interesting places for tourists is the Mariánská vyhlídka near the Hrubá Skála Chateau, which offers one of the best views in the Bohemian Paradise of the Dragon Rocks and Trosky. Below the Hrubá Skala Chateau there is a deep gorge through a long rock passage called the Mouse Hole. Important sights in the Hrubá Skála region include Valdštejn Castle, Hrubá Skála Chateau, the Kopic Farm, a monument of folk architecture, and the Sedmihorky Spa.

Where do the property ratings come from?
The night in the teepee in Bohemian Paradise was unfortunately one big mistake for us.
We were not greeted upon arrival, even though we had announced the time in advance and even had a presentation of the donkey farm. Our arrival confirmation message only received a thumbs up icon - no word. The owner, who was walking in the garden opposite, turned around after our wave and disappeared behind the barn without a word. Since no one bothered to come, we went off on our own to walk up the hill behind the chapel to enjoy the sunset. No one contacted us again until that night, although we were assured that there would be a donkey walk that evening. There was no signal so we had no way of reaching the owners.
We put our mattresses, duvets and pillows in the teepee while it was still light out. We returned from the trip after dark to discover a million winged ants in the teepee and frogs in the bed. Sleeping on 5cm mattresses laid on hard planks was so uncomfortable that we fell asleep in the morning and woke up an hour later sleepless, sweaty and completely broken. Although the instructions say to bring mattresses, sleeping on the grass in the meadow is more comfortable than sleeping on the boards in the teepee. The next day we had a festive event to attend, and that was exactly why we wanted to be rested and washed - the reality was the opposite.
The lighting in the teepee? Just decorations. Battery operated lamps that were rusty and therefore the lamps didn't light. Absolute darkness on the whole property, no power sockets. We expected it to be hidden in a chest by the entrance, but there were only toys and slug tablets. In a place where we expected at least minimal service, there was no way to charge a mobile phone or turn on the lights.
The shower was our only specific request, which we clearly pointed out before arrival. The owner wrote that the "teepee was ready" - so logically we expected a solar shower ready as well. Upon arrival we found the bags empty. It was only the next day that she informed us that each guest had to fill the shower themselves and that they were not "maids". According to this approach, we were supposed to go about 200 km from Pilsen in the morning, fill our bags and then go on our way so that the water could warm up by the evening. Absurdity. The description of the accommodation only says that there is a camping shower, not that it is empty.
Another pearl is the "utilities" charged - 100 CZK per person, in our case 300 CZK. But there are no utilities: the lights are not on, there are no sockets, the shower was empty. The only thing we used was toilet paper - 5 cubes for 300 CZK.
The pricing policy was also misleading. We received a 50% discount as part of a collaboration in exchange for an Instagram presence. But the very next day they set the same price as "last minute" for everyone. So no discount, no benefit - just a fake deal. Properly, we should sleep for free if our discount was also the regular price for everyone. That's why I'm not afraid to be honest in my review, as there was effectively no cooperation.
The next morning, the owner texted us to see if we were awake, saying we could go donkeys. We replied that we had left an hour ago. It was even stranger that she hadn't noticed that we were no longer there. She promptly told us she'd cancelled clients because of us. But we didn't find out about it until after we left - no one told us that anything had changed. When we asked her why she hadn't informed us of the change in advance or come to sort it out personally, she responded by saying that we should have asked ourselves or come to their house. This, however, did not occur to us at all. In short, all the communication was as lousy as the whole stay.
The result? For a night for three we paid 655 CZK and got: darkness, anthills, frogs in the bed, empty shower, zero service and absolute ignorance from the owners. In the next village we found out that comfortable accommodation for all of us would cost only 400 CZK. And if we had set up our mattresses in a meadow somewhere for free, we would have slept better than here.
It was an experience - but never again.
Nice clean place with plenty of space. Very close to the rocks. Pets in sight :) Not secluded, but mostly cottagers. We'll be back :)

Great place, very nice owners. For the complications with the dug road we got home-made eggs, candles and zucchini 🥰 we enjoyed our stay very much despite the raid of rusty flying ants on the tipi in the evening hours. Biolite was in the basic equipment 😉.
The sunset with the horses in the meadows next to us was impressive. We recommend and thank you.

Owner's reaction Děkujeme za zpětnou vazbu. Mrzí nás, že jste čekali pětihvězdičkový servis tam, kde nabízíme zážitek v teepee uprostřed přírody. Room-service ani matrace z hotelu Hilton tu opravdu nejsou součástí nabídky – místo toho jsou tu žáby, hvězdy nad hlavou a Český Ráj.. To není omyl, to je prostě kempování pod stanem v tee pee. Žáby tu prostě jsou , stejně jako i mravenci. Je to zahrada.
Takové ubytování nemusí být vhodné pro každého. Ale jsme rádi, že přes bezKempu k nám přijelo přes 200 rezervací a z toho 119 nám dalo vesměs pozitivní hodnocení. Jedno negativní je od vás. 119 : 1.
