The Lavender Valley is located on the 38km exit of the D5 motorway between Prague and Pilsen. We are 30 minutes from Prague and 30 minutes from Pilsen. Within 10 minutes you can visit by bike or by car the castles of Točník, Žebrák, Koněprusské jeskyně and Svatý Jan pod Skalou or Čertovy schody and Lom Amerika. Within 15 minutes you can visit Karlštejn and Křivoklát castles, the M. D. Rettig Museum in Všeradice, the Celtic Opidum in Stradonice, Z8mek Nižbor and the Celtic Centre, the Hořovice Museum or the Berounka boat ride. The Lavender Valley is located in the heart of the Barrandien Geopark on the limestone seas you will find our 6,5ha Ecological Area at the BIO Lavender Fields, which are among the largest in the world. Great specialties from the Czech calendar in the warmth of the Lavender Mojito and in winter Lavender Brew, breakfast, lunch and dinner from the farms of Berounsko and Příbramsko. Within 5 minutes you can reach the swimming pool in Zdice. Here you will find a restaurant, a health food shop, workshops with the creation of our own organic perfumes, creams or lavender salt, sugar in organic quality. When you need to recharge your batteries you can book an hour-long aromatherapy for up to 6 people in the Organic Lavender Aromatherapy Room. You will increase the production of the happiness hormone serotonin, Dopamine important for your body's cognitive functions, calm your mind and soul and harmonize the breathing, digestive and nervous processes in your body. Meanwhile, we have toilets and a rainbow hall where you can fold in the rain and wind, play cards, checkers or chess to nice relaxing music or read a book with great Organic Lavender teas and drinks. We ask visitors to use the aromatherapy of the BIO Lavender Fields, the off-season of the Brda forests and our BIO cherry orchard but just to be as ecologically friendly as possible with respect for the Planet and love for people.

The grounds are very nice, for us with a two year old daughter it was great that it is a short walk from the station and there are lots of fun activities for the kids on the grounds, with bigger kids you can play a game with completing tasks. There is also a swimming pool nearby which we took advantage of in the hot weather. There is also a shop in the village which is open long enough even at the weekend.
Compared to the photos, we were a bit surprised by the "view" of the silo on the next property :-)
What was disappointing was that although the owner mentions the possibility of a fireplace and a barbecue, neither was possible in the end. Right after arrival we asked if it would be possible to just roast some sausages, that we would not make a big fire. The nice lady at the restaurant told us that they did not have a fire pit or grill. We spotted a grill on the property while setting up our tent, so we asked about the possibility of renting one when they finally had one, that we would just have a quick roast of the burgers for dinner and of course clean up after ourselves, that we would also buy briquettes and whatever else we needed. The lady said okay then and even showed us where the wood was so we didn't have to buy or carry anything. We went for a walk around the area and bought some sausages in the shop. We were unpleasantly surprised on our return to find a note on a piece of paper by the tent saying that there was a ban on fires according to the ordinance and the grill had been hidden away just in case. Raw sausages for dinner was not quite the best... All we had to do was to be contacted by phone and we would have made other arrangements accordingly.
The next morning we ordered an experiential breakfast which made up for the evening's grumpiness with the raw sausage, the food was great.
I'm not sure about the drinking water - everywhere in the toilets (except for the disabled) states that it is utility water, so I would recommend other non campers to take some supply with them, the restaurant closes at 6pm, however you can arrange with the staff to give you a beer on the side, or whatever you fancy - we sorted it out in the aforementioned shop.
Overall, we had a very nice time camping on the property, although we expected more seclusion, after all the highway is nearby and there is a track that runs past the property, but it is not that busy. It's also a shame that the tent can't really be pitched anywhere in the shade, we were lucky to have a morning under a cloud so the heat didn't drive us out of the tent unnecessarily early. The whole site is very nicely maintained, there is plenty to keep the kids entertained, the food and drinks on offer are sufficient, for us we would have liked the opportunity to shower :-) Apart from a minor complication with the barbecue which could have been avoided, we would definitely further recommend everyone to visit and would be happy to come back again.

Hledají v nich poklad, hrají si a dopřávcáme jik dětský svět plný pohádek, protože jim náleží. Tak se to ve vyspělém západním světě dělá:))))
Věci se nevyhazují ale obnovují.
Neplýtvá se ale tvoří.¨Namísto likvidace a zdevastování planety.

Waking up by the lavender field, there is a shop and cafe/restaurant on site so the opportunity to have coffee and fresh cakes for breakfast.

Everything went well. The place is very nice, activities for children and adults. We had dinner in the restaurant, and a small breakfast in the morning, all very good with seasonal ingredients. The property was absolutely quiet. Thank you and we would love to return sometime.
