I slept only one night so I can't judge the surroundings. The local pub and playground is a short walk from the site. Owner very helpful, excellent communication.

It is surrounded on one side by the rest of the garden and piles of earth, on the other side by a former farmhouse and a new building. Across the field there is a beautiful view of the distant countryside. The place was quiet, mown and with a fireplace.
Unfortunately I was unwell at the time of my stay so was unable to explore the site more and left early, but will return.
