We come back here time and time again, and as always, we were satisfied. There’s a sense of peace and quiet here. It’s like a balm for the soul.
A really nice place. A huge mowed meadow, excellent facilities—two nice, clean outhouses, a shed with kitchen equipment, a shower, drinking water...
We were kept company all evening and part of the night by the fluffy, four-legged lady of the house :-D She showed us her affection, even though we were completely inconsiderate and didn’t share even a bite of our dinner with her :-)
Unfortunately, the stream wasn’t suitable for wading, but it was great for launching little boats from the footbridge. The playground was a hit; after a weekend on a boat, the kids eagerly crawled into the sandbox and enjoyed the peace and quiet.
It’s true that you can hear the road, but we understand that we’re in a densely populated area 🤷♀️—it wasn’t a major nuisance.
One thing that could be improved—though it’s certainly not within the owners’ control—is the ubiquitous cigarette butts. We’d like to appeal to other visitors: please clean up your cigarette butts; it’s not pleasant to step on them everywhere.
After a weekend spent on the overcrowded Vltava River, the night here was a wonderful balm for the soul. Thank you for the opportunity to stay here.
