Where do the property ratings come from?
The location and facilities were great. The only thing that takes off one heart is the fact that there’s rocky ground beneath the grass, so anchoring the tent was challenging—I recommend using a hammer for this. The second issue arose when we had a reservation for two tents (two adults and four children), but the manager insisted that it was still considered a single reservation, so we were only entitled to one designated spot and had to fit into it. Given today’s large tents, this is rather unfortunate.
The mini-campground has excellent facilities: electricity, showers, drinking water, and restrooms. What more could you ask for? As a bonus, there’s a view of a hillside with a flock of sheep, and right across from the campground is the entrance to the Mikulášská Adit. It’s the ideal spot for bike trips, not just on the Czech side.
Our second time camping without a campsite, with a camper and a little one. The facilities were top-notch; the restrooms and showers were clean. A gorgeous view of a pasture with sheep—they’ll definitely wake you up in the morning :) Peaceful and beautiful nature all around, with plenty of trails everywhere. Communication with the owner was also great; he contacted us the day before we arrived. This definitely won’t be our last visit here :)

The sheep grazing on the hill across the way make for the most beautiful backdrop. The morning tour of the mine tunnel, just the two of us, was a wonderful experience.

Udržovaný pozemek ve vlastnictví samotné obce. Velmi dobrá dostupnost a sjízdnost pozemku. Pro hosty je velkým bonusem zázemí (WC, sprchy, venkovní dřezy, elektřina). Přímo na pozemku se nachází vstup do historické štoly (my jsme na pozemku byli v polovině listopadu, kdy už skončila sezóna, takže si prohlídku štoly musíme nechat na jaro). Za autem máte hraniční potok, za potokem už je Sasko (běžte se podívat do Seiffenu – stojí to za to). Přilehlá silnice vůbec neruší, provoz není nijak významný. Na pozemek se určitě vrátíme s koly. Okolní cesty a cyklotrasy vyloženě zvou na cyklovíkend. Obci patří palec nahoru a poděkování, že se takto stará o karavanisty :-).
