The parking spaces are located in the outskirts of the historic town of Domažlice, the centre of the peculiar Chodsko region, famous for its dialect, folk traditions, bagpipe music and delicious cakes. In the reconstructed brewery you can taste local beer, where the centuries-old tradition of brewing beer, which began in the town in 1341, has been continued. In the surroundings, you can visit the Bohemian Forest (the highest peak, Čerchov, is 1,042 m above sea level), where the Iron Curtain used to run along the border with Germany and where you can find the remains of vanished villages (e.g. Lučina/Grafenried). We recommend using the network of cycle paths, or taking the nearby train station for transport further afield. Do not miss Horšovský Týn, or the German town of Furth im Wald.The closed area serves as a parking area, where mainly grass is reserved for caravans, but other free areas on pavement or gravel can also be used.
