Maringotka is ideal for two adults (bed 160x200cm, bed linen is available) . In the maringotka there is an equipped kitchenette with a gas cooker(pot, knives, cutlery, plates, glasses....everything necessary to prepare a simple snack), you can roast sausages on the outdoor fireplace. You will certainly not be cold, you can warm up in the stove. You can park about 30 meters from the marquee on the forest path, or in case of wet weather on the football field over the footbridge. You can do a digital detox here, but there is electricity to charge phones and laptops thanks to the power bank. Hygiene is catered for with an outdoor bathhouse and, in the summer months, a camping shower.

The last 400 metres to the marquee is along a dirt road, parking is about 30 metres from the marquee along the meadow. If it is wet, I do not recommend driving up to the property, but leave the car at the football field where you cross the footbridge and in about 300 meters you are at the marquee.

We had been thinking about this stay for a while as we were curious about this type of marquee and renovation but the price seemed exorbitant. Finally we were swayed and decided to enjoy a bit of glamping. The marquee is renovated nicely but I can't recommend it for a winter stay under the current circumstances. Unfortunately, contrary to the description, the marquee was not heated by a wood stove but by a gas heater which smells and cannot be used much in small enclosed spaces and cannot be used during the night. It needs to be well ventilated and as there are no operable windows and the skylights have been removed altogether, the only option is to open the door. This will be a disadvantage even in the sultry summer. The caravan is situated in a nice location but it is very visible from everywhere. There's a busy road just above the marquee. Comparing it to another stay at a much lower price, the marquee was poorly equipped. There was one pot in the kitchen. It could use a pan and a tea kettle and some sort of cooking pot and spoon. There was a small broom and dustpan for cleaning, a large broom and some sort of rag and a bucket either for cleaning or a dishwashing container and a doormat would have been useful. So if we had brought the usual camping gear and especially a warm sleeping bag at a third or max half the price it would have been ok, but as it was we were pretty disappointed. The heating was really a bummer, because sleeping in February under a thin blanket that doesn't hold any heat with no heating option is about health. We even considered buying a sleeping bag in Jihlava for the second night. It would have been nice if there was some seating for the marquee like folding chairs with a table and just a few logs outside. There is nothing like that outside or inside. You can only sit on the ground in the marquee. The bed has a tall and very flimsy frame, so it is unsuitable for sitting. And we were surprised that the marquee cannot be locked from the inside. The mini sink is a great solution if you just need to rinse your hands lightly. But we were very economical with water and if it wasn't for the snow and we didn't have our own water bundle we definitely wouldn't have gone out. Overall we felt like the owners hadn't done much to the marquee, it could certainly be vastly improved with a few practical touches. Oh, and if you arrive at night, watch your step, the marquee is surrounded by a string or two, including the path to the bathhouse.
I recommend it! Great communication and willingness of the owner. Great for those who are looking for relaxation, but still want to stay in civilization.
