Swimming is possible directly from the property in the pond Řezník or from its dam nearby. About 1 km in Myslkovice is the pond Člunovec, Roudenské sandpits are about 5 km away and Veselské sandpits about 15 km.
This place is perfectly situated for cycling trips (charging station for electric bikes about 4 km in Klenovice), hiking or sightseeing trips. In the village of Myslkovice (500m) there is a grocery store, a chateau with a children's playground. In addition, near the property (500m) there is the Daisy Ranch with a mini-zoo.
Other places of interest in the vicinity include the town of Sobeslav (3 km- lookout tower with the Way of the Cross, Hláska tower), lookout tower in Krátošice (7 km), Choustník Castle (12 km), Červená Lhota (15 km), the town of Tábor (15 km), Hluboká nad Vltavou (40 km).

Trouble-free arrival even in bad weather
The access road from the road to the Palouček is solid and stable even in long lasting rains ( according to the words of the digger ). Nevertheless, the Palouček has a slight slope, is grassed and someone could have a problem in the rain ( so far this has not happened,even during a visit in February ) In case of a problem, please do not hesitate to contact me.

It is best to set up your tents on the large mowed area extending from the outhouse toward the paved parking area. Please use only the designated area when building a fire. Exercise extreme caution when building a fire, as the proximity of the forest and the severe drought pose a high risk of wildfires. Firewood, a hatchet, and a saw are freely available. In case of bad weather, a storage chest is available for deck chairs, hammocks, or anything else. We are not liable for any damage caused by thunderstorms. A new footbridge has also been built from Palouček to the pond dam or to the nearby village, etc.

A magical place, a thoughtful owner... there are lounge chairs, a nice wood-burning fire pit, and a wooden deck.
The location is perfect, and the owner has everything nicely set up. Swimming in the pond was great, it was quiet at night, and even our dog really enjoyed it there. There are nice places to explore nearby, and there’s a perfect restaurant for lunch in the village of Klenovice. We’d love to come back here again.
Great spot—it’s close to the road, but there’s very little traffic and nothing bothered us. It was nice to relax in a lounge chair and lie in the hammock. The owner responded quickly to our messages and gave us great advice. We really enjoyed our stay there and decided to extend it for another night right away. Thank you so much, and we’ll be back someday. 👍
A nice and pleasant campsite just a few steps from a pond that’s perfect for swimming and cooling off. The site is very well equipped—a clean dry toilet, fire pit, grill, etc. (exactly as described by the operator). The property is sufficiently secluded from the nearby village, and the mature trees provide privacy and tranquility. The only place you can see the property from is probably the road, but even that’s quite far away. We definitely recommend this spot.
A beautiful campsite with plenty of trees providing shade. The amenities—including lounge chairs and a hammock—are perfect, and there’s a lovely outhouse😊. There’s a grocery store in the nearby village. We really enjoyed our stay here. I’m deducting a point because on the morning of our last day here, some boy drove in on a tractor and started mowing the grass right next to our tent. Before we could react, he hit the side poles of our tent’s vestibule with the mower. He completely bent and broke two of the poles, then drove off. We’re really sorry about this because we travel with our beloved vintage tent, for which it’s practically impossible and very expensive to find replacement parts, so we probably won’t be able to use the vestibule anymore.... I don’t know if one of the owners is mowing the meadow themselves or if someone else is mowing it for hay, but in any case, they should plan better when the meadow will be mowed—or at least not drive literally a few centimeters from the tent...(We had to leave the property by 11 a.m., and this happened before 10 a.m., so we really didn’t expect anyone to be driving across the meadow...)
