COTTAGE in detail
The cottage is not wheelchair accessible, the land is slightly sloping and there are a few (approximately 4) steps to negotiate. You can use the living room with a 10kw wood-burning stove, a large dining table and a sofa (on which you can sleep in an emergency), the kitchen with a small dishwasher and all the equipment (we cook in it on a gas stove and bake in an electric oven, we have a microwave and a fridge with a small freezer), a bathroom with a shower and a toilet (there is enough hot water in the electric boiler for everyone).
After another 4 interior stairs you get to the area where there is a combination of a work area with a monitor and a children's area with toys for girls and boys. From there you get to the master bedroom where you can project anything from Netflix, prime, YouTube or use the HDMi/USB 2.0 input with the projector.
SLEEP in detail
The beds are arranged variably. These are 3 90cm ESPEVAR beds from IKEA, which do not have a rantle and therefore can be freely moved to/from each other. For a couple, it can be used as a standard king size bed (180) and for a contact family, it can create a 270cm wide airfield that can be nailed to the wall on one side and secured with a large rolling fatboy bag on the other, against injury in case of a mini-meltdown. In this bedroom there is also a 160cm wide ESPEVAR bed. All beds have good quality IKEA mattresses, rather hard, mattress protectors and nice bedding.
There is a second mini bedroom in the cottage, which is really only for sleeping, nothing more than a 120cm bed and space to put one piece of luggage can fit in there (an adult with one little one can manage).
OUTDOOR
Outside you'll currently find play elements for the kids and a generous, 7m diameter fire pit with a grate, also a fine gas bomb grill and a large outdoor table with two benches under an umbrella.

- There is a drilled well on the property, we drink the water ourselves, but it has not been tested yet, so a canister with fresh drinking water from the order will be prepared.

- The cottage is heated by a wood stove, it has a capacity of 10kw and a large firebox, so it can be loaded for the night and heated again in the morning, there is enough wood, we always try to prepare the chips for the first stop, if the previous guests did not prepare them for us, for you :-)
Access to the property may be difficult in rainy weather
After leaving the main road No.438 follows: - 250m climb on a forest stone/gravel path; at the top after turning onto a forest contour (unpaved) - another 250m directly to the hut (the road leads nowhere else) - After rainfall it can be waterlogged in one place (so far it has been passable all year round even for low-riding cars) - Extra caution is advised with unusually low chassis - The last point of contact with the tarmac is 500 m from the cottage - (We are available to assist with our SUV) You will park right next to the lodge, 2-4 cars will fit.

Absolutely amazing place to relax and lots of possibilities for excursions in the area. The cottage is superbly furnished and the owner and her husband are wonderful people. I only give a star down for the inconvenience with the cleaning, otherwise thank you for a perfectly equipped place for a family with small children (our 3 and 6 years old): two swings outside, two nets, a slide, a trampoline, gymnastic rings for swinging inside (a blast!), we also used the projector for stories, toys, gas grill and fireplace with grate, stove inside...I recommend a trip to Helfštýn and the rope center even if you're not a total castle nerd like me-it's an architectural gem with blacksmith works from symposiums. There are different levels in the rope center, so it was a blast with both kids. Then we did the trail from Hidden Stories at the Borders Abyss (an app especially for kids and parents on trips) and the swimming pool (indoor and outdoor) in Borders. The cottage is really relaxing, quiet, and I appreciate the selection of books and beautiful cottage china. 😊 By the end of the week, the tap water was almost running, the owners will solve it. Otherwise overall good communication, you feel like everything can be addressed. Thank you.
