Welcome to our paradise! The cottage is hidden near Prague in the beautiful and still little touched nature of Czech Siberia with its own access and parking on the property. It is on the edge of the village overlooking the surrounding fields and hills. The cottage has a ground floor and first floor with bedrooms. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen with stove and oven, fridge with smaller freezer, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine (dishwasher is not there). There is also a separate toilet with flush toilet, bathroom with shower. Then the main living area with a large dining table, stove, seating and a glass entrance to the outdoor terrace. Upstairs there is one large bedroom with a double bed and one small bedroom with two twin beds (the beds are 190cm long).
We have a smaller boiler downstairs so hot water for showering is not a problem. There is a flow heater in the kitchen and the cottage is fed with drinking water from the range, electricity also. There is a septic tank at the cottage, so we really ask for reasonable water consumption and if possible the use of nature-friendly cosmetics. We deliberately do not have wifi or TV - we want to give ourselves and you peace from the everyday hustle and bustle. There is a ping pong table, an outdoor Weber charcoal grill (please bring your own charcoal and clean the grill thoroughly after use), outdoor seating for 4 with a round table, 2x fatboy bags for lounging in the garden or inside and also an umbrella. Included in the price is clean linen and clean towels (please bring your own towels). Hairdryer, blankets, board games, iron and ironing board, basic cosmetics (shower gel shampoo) available on site.
Total capacity is 4 beds (or you can increase the capacity with your own mattress and sleeping bag - by prior arrangement with us). We use the cottage all year round, as long as there are no big frosts, but the heating in the stove has its limits and in winter it requires a bit of hardiness (toilet, bathroom, hallway and kitchen are not heated - on the contrary, the stove can heat the living area and upper rooms).
We ask for a minimum of 2 nights so that we don't have endless cleaning worries and you have time to rest and enjoy the peace. We use the cottage often too and love it - please don't ruin it for us.
