1. Cycle path along the Vrchlice River (Kutná Hora - Malešov)
The route leads through the romantic Vrchlice valley, past former mills and lakes.
A wonderful combination of nature and history: old mills, rocks, pools and traces of Kutná Hora's silver history.
Ideal for MTB / trekking bikes, technically challenging in places (roots, rocky passages).
2. Circuit through Malasovská fortress and pond
Local circuit approx. 8 km:
Malešov - Malešov Fortress - Malešovský rybník - back.
An easier route, also suitable for families with children.
Possibility of swimming in the pond and visiting the Hussite fortress
3. Exit to Kačina and the surrounding forests
Malešov → Svatý Mikuláš → Kačina Castle (approx. 12 km).
A beautiful drive through the field and forest paths, Kačina Castle is a jewel of Empire architecture with a park ideal for relaxation.
The route is also suitable for trekking and road bikes (most of the paths are asphalt/gravel).
Beautiful swimming is in the pond Velký (2km) and Vidlák (by small train about 20 minutes away, the train stop is 4 minutes from the eco-center Divočina).
Trail "In the footsteps of Hussite governors"
One of the biggest attractions for hikers is the opportunity to follow the Hussite trails, where the governors and their retinues walked at the time when Kutná Hora and its surroundings played an important role in the Hussite wars.
Malasov is a picturesque village with a romantic Hussite fortress where you can literally touch the medieval history. Malasov fortress plays an important role in the popular game "Kingdom come - deliverance".
After the Red from Kutná Hora (6km) - through the valley of rocks and mills on Vrchlice
Another unforgettable route is the red trail, which takes you to the romantic valley of Vrchlice. Here time stands still - the stream makes its way through the rocky bed, above which mills, weirs and mysterious nooks and crannies alternate.
Along the way, you will pass the remains of old mills, each with its own story - from grain mills to those used for silver mining.Along the way, you will pass small lakes and pools that seem to transport you to a fairy tale.
Visit the "Friendly Brewery" where unpasteurised beers are brewed from quality ingredients, with the possibility of a tour of the brewery facilities. The cheerful Malá Skála Museum is also worth a visit.
