Between the Holan Ponds #7587

We offer a site for a caravan or motorhome on a flat grassy plot between the ponds. The site is in an existing paddock but the animals are no longer in it.
The site is located between the Milčanský and Holanský ponds. The water is really close here, only a few dozen meters on each side. You can take a walk to the pond in the morning, go cycling or walking during the day and come back to the meadow in the evening.
It is not complete solitude in the middle of the forest. The land lies next to the small camp Milčany, so in the season there is a regular summer traffic. No big tourist area, but the people around the water, the cyclists, the occasional voices from the campsite and the holiday atmosphere just belong to this place.
Just the campsite next to the property is a big advantage. From mid-May to the end of September there is an open refreshment area where you can go for a meal, a drink or a sit down. This gives you your own pitch in the meadow, but at the same time you don't have to deal with every meal on the cooker.
There is a cycle path around the property. Just get on your bike and you can go along the ponds, towards Holany, Zahrádky, Stvolínky or further into the Macha region. The landscape here is beautifully rugged, alternating between ponds, forests, meadows, villages and sandstone cliffs. You can cycle and walk here for days and still discover new places.
In summer, the area around the ponds is livelier, but still retains a natural rural atmosphere.
You can take a trip to Holanské rybníky, Vlhošt', the Husa rock formation, the ruins of Ronov or Helfenburk Castle near Úštěk. Úštěk itself with its historical centre and the Bird Houses is also worth a visit. By car you can also comfortably get to Lake Macha, Doksy, Staré Splavy, Bezděz or Pekel near Česká Lípa.
This place is such a small piece of countryside between the ponds. It's not sterile, it's not hidden away from the world and in summer it's full of life. But it has its own charm. Grass, water around the corner, a bike path underfoot, refreshments next door and plenty of hikes all around.
Come and relax by the ponds, go for a bike ride, take a swim, sit outside in the evening and enjoy a few days in a landscape that has its own pace.
