For paddlers, the 100m Opatovice Canal flows through, which is navigable all year round and feeds many of the surrounding ponds with a bird sanctuary (4km). The land has 3000m2 of which 600m2 is flat grass, surrounded by fields and meadows and by the stream with mature trees that provide shade in the hot summer. If you want to watch the deer, do not light a fire and take binoculars.
Even the biggest car or caravan can park here. It is possible to camp larger groups, but only under one reservation for your privacy. Trouble-free arrival even in bad weather
Turn off the asphalt road in the village of Přelovice, cross the bridge. The road turns to the left. You pass the red hut of Jahody Houda, a straight paved dirt road flanked on the sides by cattle fences, after 600m there is a surveyor's pole on the left and after it you turn left onto a bridge. Beyond the bridge immediately to the right, along the stream for 40m is an orange pipe marking the start and end of your land,. where there is a cut out. You can also come along the Abbey Canal by boat. The exit point is marked on the tree with a smiley face (: You will walk along the plot where the poplars are planted, across the meadow towards the tall alders and after 50 m you are at the place by the orange poles that mark the boundaries of the plot.

A nice, secluded spot. A meadow, a stream. A small seating area, a clean outhouse. Flat terrain and bike paths. We liked it here.
Two minor drawbacks:
- Both evenings, a hunter drove by and parked at a hunting blind about 100 meters from us. Not that he was disturbing our privacy, but when gunshots wake you up at night, it’s not exactly a pleasant experience… (I don’t know if this is common or if we just happened to be there during hunting season).
- The water source is quite far away—a few hundred meters down a winding dirt road and then a few hundred meters along the road (yes, it’s even mentioned in the property description, so I’m just pointing it out). I wouldn’t exactly describe the property as having “a water source on the property.”
A peaceful place with positive energy; secluded from the hustle and bustle of civilization, yet—for those who need it—just a short walk from its amenities, such as the shops and restaurants in the village beyond the grove.Surrounded by meadows and fields, bordered by a wide bend of the Opatovice Canal lined with alders, oaks, and pines; the meadows feature streams with small groves.Right on the property, there’s a stream with a small pool and mature alder trees providing ample shade when needed...Accompanied by roe deer and croaking frogs. A beautiful spot with easy access, where you can blend in with nature—at least for a while—lose track of time, recharge, and clear your head of trivialities...A very accommodating owner who responds quickly; after payment of the reservation, he sent photo instructions to help us find the place without any trouble. A peaceful little spot where the only thing that might disturb you are some deer. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises.
Quick arrangements, even at the last minute👌 For us, it was a wonderful place to relax and spend the night during our cycling trip. Just be careful—the deer might eat your breakfast if you don’t keep an eye on it 😎
