This expansive private property, located right next to the newly developing Osada V Háji—a picturesque glamping campground—is the ideal spot for lovers of nature, peace, and simple travel. Whether you arrive with a RV, a tent, or just a backpack, you’ll love it here.
The property is located in the heart of the Posázaví region, just a short walk from the Sázava River, where a small pier is available—perfect for a morning swim, a quick dip, or boarding a boat. Nearby, you’ll also find a popular weir where both children and adults can have fun.
The surrounding area is perfect for canoeists, hikers, cyclists, and backpackers. The Chřenovice train station on the iconic Posázavský Pacifik line is about 1,000 meters away. From there, you can take beautiful train trips:
Traveling upstream (toward Světlá nad Sázavou), get off at the 4th stop, Stvořidla—a stunning nature reserve with boulders, rapids, and a wild river awaits you.
On the other hand, you can easily take the train all the way to Český Šternberk, where a majestic castle stands.

You can build a fire in our fire pits, which we’ll be happy to lend you upon request.

There is no running water or restroom available, so we recommend bringing your own supplies.
The river pier is freely accessible to guests of the meadow.
Please be mindful that adjacent to the property is the Osada V Háji glamping site, which is reserved exclusively for guests staying on the premises. Therefore, visitors to the meadow are not permitted to enter this neighboring property. Thank you for your understanding and consideration.

- In remote corners of the property, grey water from washing dishes, hands and showers can be poured on the grass - only if you use environmentally friendly products

Access to the property may be difficult in rainy weather
The site we are offering is a meadow, so please be aware that during very heavy or prolonged rain, the drivability may be temporarily impaired—as is the case with any grassy area. Under normal conditions, however, the meadow is not waterlogged, and the ground is mostly firm, so you shouldn’t have any trouble getting there.
Restriction of the access road
The access road is passable for standard caravans and RVs. In one short section, the road is lined with hedges of thuja and bay laurel, so wider vehicles may make slight contact with the plants. Larger vehicles can still pass through, but you’ll need to keep this in mind upon arrival.
cycling
Our meadow is a great starting point for cycling tours in the picturesque Posázaví region. The surrounding area offers varied terrain - from easy trails along the river to more demanding hikes through the forests and hills of the Highlands.
The Posázava Trail 19 cycling route leads directly past the village and will take you to Ledec nad Sázavou or upstream via Stvořidla towards Světlá.
Most of the routes are quiet, not very busy and suitable for families with children. Both gravel and road bike lovers will find their way here.
fishing
Fishing enthusiasts will also find something to do here - the Sázava River right next to the property is a trout and non-trout fishery, where it is possible to fish with a valid permit (the section is part of the MO ČRS).
From the pier or from the shore you can fish in peace and privacy - an ideal place for morning waiting or evening quiet by the water.
Please just respect the rules of the fishing regulations and be considerate of other visitors.
water sports
Our meadow is situated right next to a clean and quiet part of the Sázava River, which is perfect for swimming. Right next to the land there is a wooden pier for comfortable entry into the water - ideal for morning refreshment, romantic evening dip.
In addition, a few minutes walk downstream will lead you to the weir, where a natural pool is formed - a great place for "sniffing" with children, swimming and resting on a blanket.
The water is pleasantly warm in summer, the current is gentle and safe. Swimming here is an experience - without crowds, with a view of nature and the sounds of the forest in the background.
activities for kids
For families with children, there are plenty of ways to keep them entertained:
Right by the river, they can enjoy safe splashing in the shallows or by the weir - the perfect place to build dams, catch pebbles and paddle.
In Hněvkovice (approx. 3 km) you will find a magical playground hidden in the woods - wooden climbing frames, swings and a picnic area.
The meadow itself offers space for evening fairy tales under the stars.
hiking
The surroundings of Sázava are interwoven with hiking trails. Directly from the property you can go:
To the ruins of Chřenovice Castle - a romantic walk with a view of the meander of the river.
To Stvořidla - a beautiful rocky reserve with rapids, forests and a wild river, where you can go on foot or by train.
To Ledec nad Sázavou - on the way you can stop for swimming, ice cream or visit the local castle.
The routes are well marked, suitable for both fit hikers and families with children.

Quiet location right by the river and beautiful surrounding nature. There are trees near the driveway. Branches were scraping against the ceiling and walls of my motorhome (3.3 m high). Communication with the owner was pleasant and no problems.
Nice and big meadow right by the river Sázava. The access road was not so good, but it will be passable even in the rain. We were surprised to see quite a few cars passing on the road right next to the meadow, even at night, but it was nothing too bad. Also, there were a lot of mosquitoes (understandable of course, since it's land next to the water), but just make sure you count on it and don't forget the repellent :).
Beautiful quiet place on the banks of the Sázava River. If it wasn't for a family celebration, we would have extended our stay by a day!
A large meadow with fantastic swimming in the nearby weir. We were surprised that it is actually in the middle of a cottage village. But perfect for fishing.
